###there is a new damning British report about the serious malnutrition affecting Indian children.###
Aha....lets see what Pakistan is vis a vis India!
QUOTE:
Pakistan’s overall infant mortality rate of 75 per 1,000 live births. Each year 396,000 infants die, according to the Population Reference Bureau, a US-based body.
“Diarrhoea, acute respiratory infections and TB are the biggest threats to children in this region. Malnutrition due to poverty is a big contributing factor as the children here have little immunity,”

Lets come to India.....
Infant mortality rate: total: 30.15 deaths/1,000 live births
See the difference my friends!

20 people dead owing to a stampede is nothing compare to 200 plus moslems dying while circumambulating kabba every year......Pushing and shoving is common in the tight space around the Kaaba where thousands of pilgrims jostle mainly during haj. There is such a frenzy that these hajis dont stop, despite knowing the old woman being at the verge of death, they keep on trampling (while chanting madly - Bism Allah Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lil Lahi Alhamd) the body till it gives up.....there are many such horrible deaths every year thanx to Islam.......

About two weeks after the widely reported wheat deaths in Karachi, there is a new damning British report about the serious malnutrition affecting Indian children.
A new British government report on child hunger and malnutrition in India says the nation is an "economic powerhouse" but a "nutritional weakling". Here is an excerpt from Times online story:
India is condemning another generation to brain damage, poor education and early death by failing to meet its targets for tackling the malnutrition that affects almost half of its children, a study backed by the British Government concluded yesterday.
The country is an “e conomic powerhouse but a nutritional weakling”, said the report by the British-based Institute of Development Studies (IDS), which incorporated papers by more than 20 India analysts. It said that despite India’s recent economic boom, at least 46 per cent of children up to the age of 3 still suffer from malnutrition, making the country home to a third of the world’s malnourished children. The UN defines malnutrition as a state in which an individual can no longer maintain natural bodily capacities such as growth, pregnancy, lactation, learning abilities, physical work and resisting and recovering from disease.
In 2001, India committed to the UN Millennium Development Goal of halving its number of hungry by 2015. China has already met its target. India, though, will not meet its goal until 2043, based on its current rate of progress, the IDS report concluded.
“It’s the contrast between India’s fantastic economic growth and its persistent malnutrition which is so shocking,” Lawrence Haddad, director of the IDS, told The Times. He said that an average of 6,000 children died every day in India; 2,000-3,000 of them from malnutrition.

When ever I happen to read a Pakistani Article in their least jingoistic News Paper or any of the posts by these Riazs there is Always an India Bashing and they somehow show that Pakistan is better than India in that particular aspect and then write the rest of the artical(in Dawn). And in posts its a total psychosis on their part.... Take for example.. Mr Riaz... he is the best among these atleast he tries to google and get some irrelevant comparisons which even a school kid wont be proud of. and the rest are...total antithesis to logic and reasoning.
Whats with these Pakis... I know they are bread to Hate India.... Even Americans hate Commies....but confront on a higher moral ground..... if Pakis think this way....and their country is draining down the gutter..... when will they realize and start doing some thing for their society....

Once on a forum a typical Pakistani told his more Realist Pakistani.....
Realist Pakistani:
I was really surprised to read your article. I mean did you do your research well? Have you worked with karachites or people from punjab?
Do you know that there is a complete break down of law and order, and justice system. Only if you know some one in the army, you should be able to get along well. Recently a turkish company was hoodwinked of millions of dollars, by a phoney karachite. Even Russia put a condition to pakistan government, it would not expand steal mills, unless the govt helps in the recovery of russian company credits stuck there. Punjab's army is usurping every possible rights of national states. The situation is not much different as when East Pakistan, now bangladesh decided to opt for independence. Dude, you can do business over there, but please don't recommend it to others...
