I have seen some documentaries regarding Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge from the point of view of survivors, and this would be one to watch as well in terms of how genocide accounts are told.

I think this is a well-written review Fauzia. It may be somewhat difficult for some on Chowk to comment on, but the subject of the film is no less important than the discussions and "squabbles" in which we get involved here. I did have some problems with how sometimes the language of your review comes across as being too "clinical" for lack of a better word, but that admittedly is my fault for escaping the analytical language of the critic/academician
