Our childhood memories become more precious as we grow older. It is not just about any single space or thing, but how we used to feel at that point in life. Nicely written Sarah.

Enjoyed reading it. Very well written.
Trees and plants had many stories in childhood. My father told me that if I plant a tree in house and take care of it then I would get a shade of tree in heaven. But my small tree never lasted more than 2-3 months.
BTW Tree of Life is a 100+year old tree in Bahrain that is considered a natural wonder. This unique tree stands alone in the desert about 2 kilometres. Wonders how it survives without water in sand.

Nice piece of nostalgic reminiscence, Sarah! Good job. Keep writing!
We all have a few childhood memories to treasure. My own memories are when I went back to a childhood home once and marveled at how much smaller everything looked compared to the way I remembered it.
