when the east pakistani muslas were tortured and killed by their western, superior counterparts, they were cursing the punju armed forces... they forgot that, couple of decades back, in the name of Pakistani movement, the very same east pakistani people snatched and killed bongs and forced them to leave their ancestral home of 1000s of years, for the sake of arabic moon god...ironicaly, arabic moon god had not helped them, when some people, more closer to arabic moon god ( punju army of Pakistan) attacked them...
In Geeta, Krishna said, "neither anyone is killed, nor anyone kills...you are just a small tool in the hand of almighty to fight against Kaurabas..."...try to think little past, you will definitely get the answer...I am sure, arabic moon god never revealed such wisdom, and so muslas, when commit crimes don't feel about the after effects...but, when it comes to them, they start crying foul...Amrika is just a small tool in the hand of almighty and HE/SHE has more control than arabic moon god....
when Kashmiri jihadis attacked Pundits, barely they guessed that Indian armed forces will overpower the wish of arabic moon god and pay back them in bigger way....now, when they are getting their due, with proper interest, they are trying to bring Amnesty International, Human Rights etc...and arabic moon god vanished from the scene....

War is ugly, no matter what side you are on. It brings misery to all the people caught in between. The irony is on hindsight and deeper analysis most wars faught in human history turn out to be quite unnecessary. For Afghan women the misery of war has been compounded by their already low position in their society.

Blaming the woman's poverty for prostitution, has been one of the safest cards that male=phobics deal when they have run out of 'immediate' male-bashing options.

Prostitution is in various forms, and depends on the STRATA of society that the woman is from. The woman having sex with the President, for eg., may not be repaid in dollars! However, the male-phobics use the 'poor' prostitute to whip up anti-male hysteria. For eg., If a rich western man has sex with a poorer prostitute from Asia, it will be for money - naturally. Yet, the women groups will engage in anti-male propaganda, saying that the woman was 'exploited' by the man for money!

Punishing anything that is even vaguely out of sync with the norms of society, is bad for an equitable society. Take any 'raid' - it is only the MALE 'brokers', who bear the brunt of punishment. There are hardly any prostitutes in proportion, in Asian jails.

No doubt prostitutes earn FORTUNES ( and some even have very big influence in high society ), catering to the sexual needs of society. It depends entirely on the social background.

But if you think about it, making prostitution scanty ( by criminalizing it, for eg. ), actually makes sex in all OTHER 'legal' forms even MORE costlier.

Decriminalizing prostitution will definitely satisfy one long standing demand of the politically powerless gender.

Incidentally, only yesterday, an organization calling itself the All India Mens Welfare Association was born. Surely, this is welcome news for those sick of the anti-male stereotyping.
