On 14th and 15th July 1995, HRCP conducted a seminar in Lahore about ethnic problems of Sindh and its
solution. The seminar was titled “Quest for a way out”*. In the resolution adopted by participants, MQM(Altaf)
and MQM (Haqiqi) were both declared terrorist groups and the efforts of MQM at division of Sindh were
condemned. “National Press”, Karachi chapter, resorted to the worst kind of selective journalism. The
prestigious “Dawn”, that reports HRCP activities in details, reports selectively by suppressing the
condemnation of MQM factions as terrorist groups, and the widely circulated “Jang” suppressed news of the
seminar altogether thereby sidestepping the much required censure of MQM.

HRCP as we know is a totally neutral body headed by people like Hina Jillani and Asma Jahangir who have ruthlessly carried out a crusade against our army generals , jihadi policy , use of political islam for last 20 years. Infact she was the first public figure to condemn general musharaf after he toppled a constitutionally elected prime minister with 2/3rds majority. Her condemnation was published in an article in November 1999 in the most prestigious Herald Magazine.Asma Jahangir and Hina Jilani are internationally respected and honoured.

She has been the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief since 2004 (first attached to the former Commission on Human Rights, now to the Human Rights Council). Previously, she served as the UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Arbitrary and Summary Executions. She was also holds awarded an honorary Doctorate by the University of Saint Gallen in Switzerland. The 43-year-old also won the prestigious Ramon Magsaysay Award for public service. In 2001 Jahangir and Hina Jilani were awarded the Millennium prize, by UNIFEM (the United Nations Development Fund for Women) in collaboration with the non-governmental organisation International Alert. In 2005 she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize as part of the 1000 Women for Peace project.

Mr Chishti forgets the graffiti which was on the wall when MQM boycotted the elections

Vote do, maut lo!!!

How about the recent speech of MQM to punjabi zameendars,

"naap aap batayen, bori hum bhaijain gay"

Though now they blame NS or BB for the operation because they are hand in glove with Army, yet during the 90s operation

"crush the corrupt Pakistan Army" was the graffiti everywhere

Re: # 6 Sir decent uttarance is better way , no point is made by abusing words like sob etc. No personal attacks on MQM or recist remarks to salivate ethinic hatred. This hatred has killed nation , bangali race is out, you kill baloach leaders and with this attitude if they are taking help from India can you blame them. Be responsible in abuses.

anyone living in karachi those days must've remembered the graffiti: "am'n ho ya jang ... quaid kay sung"

there used to be another popular legend about how at the very last minute... afaq ahmed and amir khan were deplaned by the paki-army-s.o.n.s.o.f.b.i.t.c.h.e.s at the karachi airport to get them to launch haqiqi.

It appaers General has put fear in minds or president z and NS by declaring NRO was only to white wash BB as per wishes of USA and it was only BB specific and has soiled reputaion fabricated by govt as Saint Benzir. General is waiting and appears he will be back. NS was scolded by king of KSA and he has become "reasonable".

Another lame attempt, Mr. chishti you are shamless in feeding blatant lies.

How convinently you ignored the fact that afaq ahmed and amir khan was infact among the close circle of Altaf hussain who all share the same ideology of militancy and no respect for human life to achive there aims.

Afaq Ahmed and amir khan was militant part of mqm used by intelegence agencies who were gettin against altaf while others likes of Azeem tariq and many others who didn't took refuge of secuirty agencies were conveniently eliminated.

thus the phrase put into context.
"Ju Qaiud ka Ghaddar hai woh maut ka haqdar hai"

Thank you sir for your throwing light on criminal opponets of Altafbhai , most people know it is open secret , but you did well to inform how do not know these details and intricasies.
Let us hope nation undestands they need to heed their attention to thiniking of A.Hussain. Also it is dangerous world in Karachi and that forces him to seek safety that is reason Seniors of MQM want him away as we are at civil war and there are more than 10s of thousands of brainwashed gunmen floating aroud. Present residency situation is not good but at least offers safety and so we will have advantage of his knowledge and experience.
