The Pakistani Domestic Cricket Season: A Need For Change

I agree with the idea of:

1) Teams with geographical affiliations

2) Teams with private owners/investors

Initially the investors can be the banks that traditionally have supported
the local cricket. But eventually it should be
seen as a viable investment by all
(truly akin to the NFL, NBA).

Of course this does not mean that there will be more talent available to
selectors since they will still be heavily
into nepotism and clique-formation. But the domestic cricketers will
have a better time and better pay, and the fans
might get to see mre live cricket at affordable prices (i.e. not wait for the next
visit of Australia (etc.) to Pakistan.
