I am sure that you will find this amusing and perhaps even startling.
I once read verses written by you many years ago.I believe you sent them to your friend Babar and he passed them on to me.
The opening lines were
``As the moon of my departure throws a shadow across the lake.....
A reservoir of sorrow wells within me....
Fate has willed that we must part.....``
Please confirm whether you are the same person and if so could you please send me a copy of the poem at nigars@rocketmail.com
Incidentally Babar is now happily married and has a beautiful daughter (in case you did not know ie if you do want to know)
My apologies if you find this to be too personal or abrupt to be sent to Chowk Replies.Anyways, keep up the good work.
Regards,
Nigar

After years of subjugation to the Cindy Crawfords, Nargises, Madhuris, Manishas, the ``be-young-or-be-dead`` supermodels, it is interesting to know that there are actually some men facing the same fate. Do I feel sorry - I dare say not ;)

Obviously, one`s taste is at fault to overlook such a prime example of chivalrous manhood. Remiss of womankind, but who knows? maybe we will learn..:-)

Us Cubiclized Engineers finally have a Messiah.
The poem is accurate in all details except for one: I have never met an engineer without pearly white teeth and well-manicured hands. I mean c`mon, if you could identify one group with immaculate personal hygiene...
