I meant unite, not ``untie``

Veeresh, I think eventaully Pakistan and India will untie, as there is no tohe way. 1/3rd of Pakistan is mountains, 1/3rd is desert, leaving onyl a third of the land for such a population and economy. Not really viable, that too in absence of economic leadership.

Regards,

Divesh

I am also an ex-merchant navy engineer. During my trip around the world so many times I met pakistanis. Always I found found them a friendly lot. In fact only way I could distinguish between a pakistani and an indian is that who greets first aa-salaam-walekum. We roamed, ate and drank together but I never found any sense of enmity among them. It was a wonderful experience. Thanks for expressing your views.

Replying to the replies to your own article may not be the ``done`` thing but on the question about women, please also include Ms. Maya Kunwar, the Manager-PR at DTC for this project. Where are the women? I promise you, when I drive Pakistan hopefully around Baisakhi, my wife will be driving independently as motoring correspondent for WOMAN`s ERA of India . . .thanks for pointing it out, though...cheers
