Mr. Neurogen # 20
You are right, that`s it. (BTW I read those poems after someone wrote them for me in Urdu alphabets). I desperately needed stilts to raise my height.

Well, this is a nice piece. It`s compact, has enough music in itself and flows smoothly. The metaphor is effective. It strikes and strikes well!
``It`s not like the wax or the flame
One can only last as long as the other exist``

Dear Sharjeel,
I told you not to take me seriously. Honestly, I dont even know the alif bay of English poetry. I have only remembered three Englih poems in my life i.e. Twinkle, Twinkle..., Ba Ba...., and Humpty Dumpty..; and still remember them. Other than that I know the stanza
``Not gold but only men can make a nation great and strong``.
and
That`s all the English poetry that I know.
Your poem was good to read and ideas were nicely presented. There is a lady at Chowk called Zahra-she is the greatest critic of my literary criticism. She would have told you all about my Naalaiqui. Thank God she is not around.

Thank you all for interacting. First of all its a piece of work..simplicity was an intention. Urstruly...obviously I am not anyone to decide what you might perceive of this work of mine. You could probably suit it to your fit. Without going in to the asthetics, I would say, what you see is what you get! Being in that state sometimes simple words defines complex issues in great detail. But i do appreciate your analogy.I might even second it on the ballot. As far as for those whose otherwise intellectualy challenged minds could not be aroused by this piece..I will try to the best of my abilities to change your perception in my next piece..if it becomes reality. Happy Ramzan , Christmas and a happy New year to all of u.
PS: baba thanks.
thankyou RAS i love your articles..you r a great writer

ylh,
Music - Poetry and Math have a lot in common.. -
It`s a fact, it`s proven.
Computer Science.. is Math!! -
A bit of cognitive science may perhaps enlighten your sense of humour.
But then again, each has a right to their point of view.
Do some people just write to be rude?, on Chowk??
Cheers

It’s not the drink it down love,
Or the hangover romance,
It’s the scent of your hair that leaves me weak,
And the hours it takes me to change the sheets,
Or the colorless roses lying at my feet.
Dear Sharjeel,
Thanks for sharing this nice and simple poem with us. I have a question about
``And the hours it takes me to change the sheets,``
from the above block, though.
I envision it as a post-partum rearrangement at a gyny-ward instead of a post coitus change around in a dreamy bedroom. So which one it is?
BTW, I am notorious for having sickest sense of humor at chowk so don’t take me seriously.
