``Your question is rather queer.``
Dear sir, there is nothing strange. I am find lot of concern about shudras, minorities, hatered for Baniyas etc. These are supposed to be in lowest two castes. Everyone accepts that majority of muslims in Indian sub-continent had hindu ancestors. Why we don`t find anyone claiming a shudra or baniya as their ancestor?
Will answer more when I get my answer.
``Also it says that humans have been divided in nations and tribes, for their recognition, but better is the one more pious.
With these things in mind, it is no wonder that a lot of Slaves have ruled Muslim Kingdom.``
Rashid mian, climb down from your pedestal. You are being a kid if you believe that slaves ruled muslim kingdoms because of equal opportunity employement provided by Islam. There are much more humble answers to this. Read your history books again and if you don`t get the answer, I will be happy to provide

india and ICBM
Indian are phallic worshippers, Shivalingam is a good example. ``viddicalode samsarikkan patilla`` is an ancient vedic verse in malayalam, which approximately translates into ``the way to prosperity is by sending the largest phallus to the enemy``. This concept has been adapted by the anglo saxons into the day to day expressions as `bug//ger the enemy`. In any case I hope this provides one explanation. As I have said befor, there is one reality, many explanations. What is yours.

the reason behind my fleeting friendships with Pakistanis in my 25 years in this world:
back stabbing, moo par meethay, ander say zehreelay, they are filled with so much hatred for Indians inside their hearts, that they can pretend just `so` much, and then it`s all down hill from there.

``hmmm...on the one hand, freaks like ali and company are condemning female infanticide, and on the other hand, they`re calling each other `pimps` and `pedophiles` and other negative terms based on women and children``
scout, please tell me, what other words should I use to describe a person who makes jokes about sending Sikh girls to work in a brothel in Lahore?? Would you not say that shows the mindset of a paedophile and a pimp? Then feigns concern for aborted females in India? Please tell me I am interested to know...

Your question is rather queer.
What is wrong if my ancesstors were Hindu or Muslim or Christians.
Let me tell you the Last Khutba of Prophet PBUH to show that it is nothing of shame.
``There is no superiority of Arab over non Arab, nor is white superior to black. Superior among you is the one who is more pious.``
Also in Koran it says that all humans are descendants of Adam.
Also it says that humans have been divided in nations and tribes, for their recognition, but better is the one more pious.
With these things in mind, it is no wonder that a lot of Slaves have ruled Muslim Kingdom.
Qutbuddin Aibak of Qutub Minar fame and Ghiasuddin Bulbun I think were slaves before becoming ruler.
The Muslim Empire has been ruled by descendents of slaves in Turkey I think.
It is not the Blood of Muslim that make him Muslim, it is the belief of Muslim that make him Muslim.
Since there is no bad blood or good blood, what is wrong if somebody`s ancesstors were Brahmin, or Shudr or Christians or Jews. Neither it is a thing of pride nor shame.

You are asking me if Pakistan treated Bengali badly, why not Hindus.
Two things. First I am a witness, and live with those people. You would care to read my posts on Bangladesh and criticism of Pakistan.
But where there is false analogy, I will have to resist.
In Pakistan, Majority of Muslims are killed at the hands of Muslims.
The problem with Ahmedi is that they call themselves Muslims. If they stop calling themselves Muslims they might be in a better position. Second problem is Blasphemy Law, which needs to be changed into a better form.
And in West Pakistan there is hardly any killing of Hindu because of a person being a Hindu.
As far as I remember attacks on Hindu temple are also in retaliation, like Babri Masjid saga. But still it was condemned even by Jamat-e-Islami considered a very fundamentalist party.
In short there is no forced conversion in any form. If people decide for themselves due to monetary gains or some other reason what do you think it tells.

Uzr Gunah Badtar Az Gunah.
Did I say that Indian Government has done so.
You were saying.
``I was sympathetic to Palestinians, not any more``
So it was Indian Government according to your post.
So state so. Or you think you are Government of India.
Or you have no thoughts of your own.

Since we have been talking about migrations, here is a law I would like the Indian Parliament to adopt. I submitted it to Chowk as part of 4 amendments I`d like to see but it was not published. I know a lot of TNT guys will not like it but others may see it positively. Tried to put it in ``pseudo-legal`` language but I ain`t no lawyer.
Amendment#1: The Law of Return (“The Bhumiputra Law”)
Whereas
The years 1947 to 1950, contemporaneous with the creation of the modern states of India and Pakistan, were a period of widespread civil strife and that
A large number of Indians who were then residents of modern day India emigrated to Pakistan either because
They were adherents of the Two Nation theory, or
They feared for their personal safety in a period of civil unrest and
Noting that every child has the right to live freely and die peacefully in the land of his birth and in the land of his parents and
Noting that justice is done for justices sake and not for the sake of reciprocity and
Mindful of the bitterness, distrust and destruction, the Two Nation theory has caused and intensified among the people of present day India and
Mindful that the world often changes in irreversible ways and
Noting that the people of India would like to invite and warmly welcome back and restore the Indian citizenship of certain former residents of India;
It is resolved that
Any person who emigrated from India between 1947 and 1950 to Pakistan or such person’s son or daughter may
Apply to have their Indian citizenship restored provided, however, they swear under oath
“I, or at least one of my father or mother, were residents of the area comprising modern day India prior to 1947 and
Such resident(s) emigrated to Pakistan between 1947 and 1950 because they feared for their personal safety and
Such resident(s) and myself reject the two nation theory and
I take this oath with a free conscience and, if I am a believer, I take this oath in the name of God and in the name of any Book I consider sacred”
All such applications must be made prior to 2003.
No more than 200,000 such applications will be accepted from Pakistan and Bangladesh each.
No claim for material compensation for property lost by the applicant will be entertained.

the reason behind my fleeting friendships with Indians in my 25 years in this world:
back stabbing, moo par meethay, ander say zehreelay, they are filled with so much hatred for Pakistanis inside their hearts, that they can pretend just `so` much, and then it`s all down hill from there.
i`ve found this to be true time and time again, unfortunately...so much so that i`ve become the same, a diplomatic snake with the face of an angel.
such is life

Is it really necessary to drag my good name into this? Anyway, it`s unfortunate that despite parking yourself in America, you`ve not learned to appreciate sarcasm.

``As for my personal opinion, I just assumed Israelis were evil as our media portrayed them. Well, as you grow up you tend to start thinking independently.``
You got that one right brother. I met my first Israeli on a post-high school trip to Calcutta. He was a few years older than us and a paratrooper who was in Lebanon. But, God, he was just a regular Joe having fun like us. Unlike what our media portrayed them, they are good, decent people who are just trying to survive amidst a sea of hostility. And the Palestinians...the less I say about Yasir Araft and his cronies, the better.
