Let us try and see who the author of this document might be. The way the word `Chitpavan` is spelt (Sithpawan), we know this guy uses a language that does not distinguish between `ch` and `s`. It directly leads you to conclude that the author is from Tamil Nadu, the strong-hold of anti-Brahminism. Not that anti-Brahminism is bad but at least we have a starting point.

Call them Sai Baba worshippers, Small-pox Goddess worshippers, Village-border-deity worshippers, worshippers of the Black Wind, etc. Because, when you ask an illiterate villager what his beliefs are, you are going to find that someone believes small-pox is the wrath of Mariamman the Goddess visited on the people, or the village is safe because there is the deity Ayyanar seated on his horse at the edge of the village or that fever is transmitted by `Karuppu Kattu` (Black Wind). I am picking all these from Tamil Nadu because the author hails from Tamil Nadu so we can all see how scientific his native beliefs were before Brahmins and Brahminism arrived to corrupt these innocent folks who were full of ancient wisdom.

Cho Ramaswamy? Isn`t he the guy who asked K. Veeramani of Dravida Kazhagam why the stand of atheism applies only to Hindu gods but not to Allah or Jesus? Veeramani of course had no answer because if he had said there was no Allah either, he could not have walked through Thousand Lights in Madras and escaped with his life.

Oh, one final note to Semipreciousme. The Tamilians take great pride in their language and ancient poetry. There is a poem in which a poet asks a fisherwoman for some food and she replies that she is an Untouchable and so she cannot help him. This poem dates back to at least the 6th or 7th century AD though Tamilians like to claim it is 2000+ years old. In eiher case, untouchability seems to have been in practice in Tamil Nadu much before the Brahmins arrived. So much for all the logic the author of this pamphlet.

Up to very recently I was very envious of Islam--all these pious muslims are going to heaven & will be rewarded with 72 houris. I was about to get an Islamic Application Form. Then an informed source on Chowk tells me that pious muslims cant lust after them. All they are allowed to do is have intelligent conversations with them (like this one).
