Mr B_M (#370)
Among the things that count most in our lives in this world is sincerity. I think that the individuals you mentioned are sincere in what they do (in their respective fields) - I have enjoyed Zakir Hussain and Azharuddin (don`t know the others). What you may or may not be has nothing to do with you as a `bharatiya musalman`- but it has everything to do with the substance of what you say and write - and those contain gross inaccuracies in most of your posts.

I don`t care what your religion is except passing off as somebody that you really aren`t is simply conning everyone. It`s an abuse of your anonymity. Now as to why i don`t believe you are who you say you are, i have seen a sudden conversion of you where you went from damning muslims to the ``arab wannabe muslims``. Remember you said 1 billion muslims had not produced a single noble laureate and dismissed that 1 muslim when you were corrected. Why haven`t you the glorious indian muslims haven`t produced any noble laureates? Why is it that 1 b. indians have produced barely any? You are either (a) confused, or (b) slowly growing into this character b_m who is still evolving. Am i right or am i right?

``Pakistan supports BCCI stand
By Our Sports Reporter
KARACHI, Nov 23: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Friday supported the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) but dismissed apprehensions that the Asian bloc was a threat to International Cricket Council (ICC).`` (Dawn)
India has repeatedly refused to play Pakistan in cricket, for reasons other than good sportsmenship. This has caused a loss of millions of dollars to Pakistan cricket. However, Pakistan has still gone out of its way to support the BCCI, at a very critical juncture for BCCI, where it needs all the support it can get. If Pakistan were not to support the BCCI now, the BCCI would be completely cornered.
I wonder what the reaction of the Indians and the Indian Board will be to this support.

soysauce, I think you have it quite accurate regarding the `authenticity` of Mr. B_M ...
There is a regular and steady influx of articles, news items etc that have one thing in common: they have taken up where the western biases have somewhat slackened - they regurgitate the same old stereotypical myths of anti-Islamic rhetoric, distorted history regarding Kashmir, and are doing so under the assumed identities of `muslims` who are `patriotic` Indians. An individual who assumed the name of Shiraz aka Solitude comes to mind as well as another name which escapes me at present, and now this jewel, `bhartiya musalman` who has now inadvertently revealed himself on a post in the thread under the `Eulogy for the Hawks` article. I don`t think he realizes he has opened his hand in such a silly manner, but there it is.
I don`t mind the silly way in which he pretends to be a `patriotic indian musalman`, but the patent untruths, distortions and hate are what turn me away. There are other Indians on Chowk (Sadna for one) with whom I have disagreed - but I have always felt that Sadna believed sincerely in his posts. And I respect sincerety.

Concerned:
First of all, I did not mean to hurt anyone`s feelings - I must make it clear. We ``all`` have are personal likes and dislikes. I am also entitled to have that privilege. I wanted to come back to your question when I had more time, but after reading it again very objectively, I thought it should not take me a lot of time to respond. So I will give it a try:
- Pakistan has four provinces; and some tribal areas that do not fall in the jurisdiction of any province[the last time I read about it].
- All provinces hold a unique culture, language, outlook and above all that belongs to their soil ONLY. Yes, when people travel from one place to another they carry all the influences with them to the new place. Kind of diplomats of their region.
Indian Muslims are widespread in India and do not have any particular area representing their identity. Excuse my ignorance, if it is otherwise[which I doubt].
So, you cannot apply the logic that you are trying to do so in your question.
On another note, I would say that most(90%) of the Indian Muslims I have comes across [I meet quite a few of them at different social gatherings in both NY/NJ and other cities where I would travel to.]have a strange reaction toward Pakistan[as a country]- deep dislike! Well, that really makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with them. So, I concluded that there must be some psychological reason behind this ``mentality.`` And another interesting thing is that it is not toward me as a person [A Pakistani]; it will be toward Pakistan [as a region and as a country]. I`d rather not bring the conversation of India vs Pakistan during our get-togethers, but it would be brought up ghumma phiraa kur. And that is pretty damn annoying! I can come back with whipping arguments, but I avoid that intentionally. This has not happened just once or twice or thrice, this is a ``must`` while talking to them. But I should also mention that all of them are very nice to me, despite knowing that I am a Pakistani Muslima. Well, for which I do appreciate their sweetness; but when it comes to the mention of Pakistan, my blood starts boiling when I hear the ool jalool and buk buk.
Unfortunately, they are all much senior to me and I have a little hard time to thah that thuk thuk karofy[take them to task] the elders, therefore I have to use some tact and politely change the subject. [I ain`t good at that at all, meaning tact, and am still practicing. I hope to master that art in due course inshallah taala.]So it leaves a bad taste.
Then, having some uncles in foreign service, I have talked to some of their friends at great length, who were appointed to India for quite sometime. Their stance about the halat`ae`zaar of Indian Muslims in India is very different from what I hear from Indian Muslims themselves.
Personally, I do not care what the Indian Muslims think and plan to envision and dream. All the best to them in their endeavors. It`s none of my concern and interest. I won`t tolerate nonsense against Pakistan from them and that`s why I did not write ``friends`` - I wrote acquaintances. For being friends, ``Dil Saaf Hona Chahiyae. If that`s not there then why would you ever care to take a chance knowingly?`` Also, the term ``friend`` is taken in a different stride in the western world. In the East, it has a completely different connotation! It`s very hard when you learn the ins-and-outs of both worlds and try to apply the concepts of one to another and vice versa. Well, life has its challenges, in general. Let this be another :)
Take Care.

This person, B_M, i think is probably Bharathiya but not a muslim. His indignation sounds faked and it`s the same thing over and over again. I have a guess as to who uses this handle - one of the other regulars here. Anyone else shares my suspicions?

zahra,
[...They are jealous because they are not the majority in India. They are internally insecure because whatever they say, may or may not hold that much value when compared to a Bhartiya Non-Musalman...]
zahra, could one say similar things about the sindhis, mohajirs, baluchis, etc in pakistan?

``. Try deep breathing exercises, and take a couple of laxatives daily.``]
Aaj kal jo hai har AAdmi ,beemari ka `nukhsha` bata raha hai
Plz. dont prescribe without experience
This guy is the worst case of Verbal diarhoea `pooping` all over the many boards ,regardless of sanctity of them
And TAhmed sb, you are asking him to take laxatives, kiya eradah hai ya to yeh dehdration se mar jayega Then India government will call off the summit accusing of attacking & killing indian. And if you are lucky ,more of his pants will be stained with diarhoea `poops` & more smearing of CHOWK boards with `poops & poops`!

Bhartiya Musalman Jeeeee:
Scene 1:
Masoom Interactors: Bhago Bhago Chup Jao Chup Jao.....
Some Readers: Kyoun ? Kyaa Hooa?
Masoom Interactors: [All the M.interactors Upnae Ammi Abbu Keh Pass Bhaag Kur Chup Gayae.] Just to let the readers know that Masoom Interactors often do that when they are scared of NaAT`Zee. ooooooooooo[Sehmae Hoaae Interactors]
Some Readers: Kya Koi Dragon Hae?
Masoom Interactors: Abhi Daekhnae Kaa Moqaa` Hee Naheen Milaa. Siraf Naam Hee Kee Haibut Dil Pur Chaaaaa Gayee Hae` :( :)!
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
On a relatively serious note: Our land has produced so many gems that if I start counting I will have to spend quite a number of hours. Is it worth it to counter you ? Nope.
By the way, the human connection is one thing. I certainly maintain the cordial terms with my Indian Muslim acquaintances!!! What I wrote earlier is still there and will still be there! They are jealous because they are not the majority in India. They are internally insecure because whatever they say, may or may not hold that much value when compared to a Bhartiya Non-Musalman. Aside from that, as long as the Muslims in India have some influence or are monetarily stable only then they are able to come forth and chant the way I am hearing you chant.
Did I hear you humming:
Interestingly, I have never ever welcomed anyone on Chowk. Somehow, I never thought anyone needed to be welcomed here as it is open entry. To you, I felt like wishing the ``Welcome.``
Welcome Again :-)
Also, I look forward to engaging in some enlightening discussions with you.
Regards
Zahra ``Mun Maujee`` Jamshed

saminashah #172 Happy thanksgiving to you and yours too and to all other chowkies. Thanksgiving plus Iftaar is a new concept, but as the man said...hey! this is America! I have also seen turkey curry made for thanksgiving by pakis in usa. And turkey burgers replace the beef ones. The fact that it is healthy stuff does not hurt too.

Fire can be very bad for the lungs. Try breathing air instead. You have some other problems too, I notice. Try deep breathing exercises, and take a couple of laxatives daily.

Bhartiya Muslim:
I had planned to respond to your initial intellectual discourse, but after skimming through a few of your posts I thought I would rather skip the effort. Your very alias has a strange connotation.
Also, having some ``Bhartiya Muslim``[ what a combination!]as acquaintences, I can tell you that they are knee deep in jealousy and insecurity. Why? I am clueless and to be honest have no desire to look into it. They chose not to migrate so they should be content with what they have and will have. Simple.
I think such elements are far more dangerous to Pakistan than any Non-Muslim Pakistani!
Take Care and Welcome to Chowk!!!
