It is only natural for men and women to lust after each other unless they are homo. But some of these desi guys I see are simply obnoxious. They dont have the courage to approach the girl directly and ask her out. Instead they will stand afar making sly inuendos, giggle with their equally stupid friends making gestures, and if they ever get the chance they try to come close to the girl in a vulgar manner violating her privacy. For such guys there is only one remedy, the ``kick`` thing you suggested. All this is the result of hypocrite moral elements in the desi culture which prohibit an innocuous simple kiss, but readily allow hidden rapes. The rotten desi culture suppresses the expression of sexuality to such an extent that it becomes unnatural and harmful.

Screeming & shouting at the voilater could be uneasy and might get embarassing at times (Look how people out here are blaming the victim). Best solution is to confront the situation subtely; like stomping on his feet or turning and giving him a kick where it hurts most and then very sweetly saying.... oops, I am sorry. Belive me, I have seen sheepish looks in the guys trying to get fresh.

One of my freinds during my college days would carry a compass in her hands while travelling by bus and one would often hear ``Ouch!`` coming out from one of those dirty perverts.
