Dear anNy

We finally have something in common, ive had enough of catty females too, and bitchy ones too, and catty and bitchy men too.

Kher, shure u can put in any posting anywhere u like whenver u like, - haan haan baat samajh mein aageyi, ab mein jaane deti hoon, aap bhi jaane doh.

Ure a very giving person i mie add, fist u ish me a nice day then a nice life.

Thanks, u have a nice life too!

And if u ever need to talk about your catty realtives or rude people, hey, im a good listener!

Duuhingly noones,

fzk/..

Aamir: Funny how a childrens poet thingie becomes an interation abt catty females and Chomsky and such stuff, agar yeh mere grandpa ka site hota toh woh bhi bohat amuse hote, im sure. Free expression - true, it is!

well see miss fzk, the fact that chowk happpens to be not your grandads nor mine but a place where ALL can think write and interact, should help some in telling and explaining to you why i posted what i did where i did..free country, freedom of expression (no matter how inappropriate)...aap samajh rahee hain kuch? so now if i decide to post details of my iftaar with catty female relatives or an indepth analysis of why i dont understand why people need to be rude, theres not a damn thing you can do...yes?

have a nice life

duhingly yours

anNy

aamir..sorry for this nastiness:) but catty women is one thing iv had enough off...after reading your posts on a cupla board i came back to the poem...didnt read it previously since im not a very poetry person..like my poetry to rhyme ;)this was very pretty doctorsaab:

``labor and toil over hard-bitten words,

Making them soft for you to wear,``

anNy - Duuh back to u again, still dont understand why THIS particular digression in this particular poetry, please explain. Thanks for the nice day wish. Need it always, You have a nice day too. :)

Farzana - im sorry i disappeared, but ive been reading and catching up on stuff in the meantime.

Why were u looking for me July/August? Kheriyat? Me personal email is fzkara@yahoo.com by the way, in case i ever disappear off chowk again.

Just dealing with personal stuff and losses of loved ones. Much better now though. I have much to be grateful for, ALhamdolillah!

So aap ne khaliya halwa hamare bager? akele akele?

Hope not! I mean i hope u dint eat it alone alone.

Of course not, yaar, nahi i dont think God Ramzan mein halwa ke baath pur mind thori hoenga. Gunna kiya hae aur sawaab kiya hae - iska knowledge uppun ko itna nahi pun itna boloongi, i dont think iss planet mein iski kisi ko bhi iska knowledge nahi! Pun bolne wale bohat milenge!

Listen kisi aur ka parroon nahi parroon, aap kaa

stuff mein always parroongi!

Love back,

fzk/..

Aamir: Anytime, Always, and Ure Welcome! Regards.

Back to topic: Dont know why i need to write this here but it was something by Ogden Nash i think that goes...Do correct me if im wrong.

``When i remember the bygone days

I think how evening follows morn,

So many i loved were not yet dead,

So many ill love are not yet born..``

Aaah, children, can they ever be loved and forgiven and entertained enuff?

Do any of us ever really stop being children?

o wellll...

Very sweet Aamir, didn`t know you had a sweet side, hmm? :) Enjoyed these lines immensely:

``Making them soft for you to wear,

In the cruel winter of this world.``

Have to agree with Ras though, a very short piece.

Regards,

Kiran

fzk!!

Remember you??? Darn it...aap hi ne to humare izzat ka falooda banaaye tha :) Apun ko yaad hai baba. Yeh `missed u` bolke kaam nahin banega. Miss kiya to kidhar bhaag gayee? Do you know I was desperately looking for you in July/Aug? I had no way to get through to you...nahin to pataa hai saath-saath hapshee halwa kha lete. Kasam se!!

Humne to chaar kilo hazam kar liya. I hope khaane ki baatein Ramazan mein karne se koi extra gunaah ka quota nahin ban jaayega...waise bhi...khair.

How have you been? Aur jahan tak `bura fen` ki baat hai...haan, haan pooori duniya ko maalum hai hamare sheh`r mein winter ka naam nahin...now don`t rub it in :)

Hey, don`t just disappear. Nahin to humein padhne walla koi baaki rahega nahin:(

Love,

Farzana

Poet saab: Please excuse this digressionary post, but being a children`s poet you will understand how much people like doing gup-shup, no??

Aamir - I agree it is an extremely tricky situation - getting taht right balance of motivation going on w/o driving the kids round the bend and w/o apprearing tyrannical. Parents ahve their work cut out for them. The appreciation comes when they (the children) actually get to walk in those shoes. I have a feeling this might be deeper tahn what it si but then again my math is prone to all sorts of miscalculations. And for real answers to lifes issues - you simply turn to your surrogate family aka friends. I think everyone gets a second chance to get it right. rgds,

aicha

Ras Siddique;

Thank you, Ras. I`m sorry I missed you the first time. The more I look into this chowk, the more amazed I am at the wonders that keep coming up. Certainly, I look forward to all the good times I`m going to have.

Farzana Versey;

Thank you for your kind words (it seems to me they were better than the poem itself). I`ve heard that ghazal, probably in a movie somewhere (was it a Mahesh Bhatt feature?) For some reason Nida Fazli`s beautiful poetry is associated with Altaf Raja`s deplorable singing. I wonder why.

Ahmed Madani;

Hang on, let me stop laughing...

Madani sahab, were I to write as well as you do, perhaps I wouldn`t need to write at all. That was priceless. Thank you.

fzk;

You said you would and you did. And thank you. :)

Regards,

Aamir

Miss fzk,

``Some of you, Why is Chomsky part of this poem interaction, quite uncessary, nahi? Or is it a fashion these days to name drop him regardless of conversation direction? Not that im saying he isnt worthy of mention or anything. Q.``aaj mausum kitna thanda hae na?`` A. ``so what do u think abt Chomsky address?`` Q. ``Anthrax virus ka suna?`` A. ``Chomsky ke views ke bare mein aap ka kiya khayaal hae? `` Du-uh...``

if you will note, i wrote before posting the two pieces that it was a digression to the poem thereby warning everybody who was interested solely in the poem not to read ahead.

duh to you too ma`am...have a very nice day

regards,

anNy

Aamir, was that questioning why we inexplicably love and do the undoable for our precious young loved ones like we do? Perhaps because there is a child in us who is always there, no matter how old we are or where we go, always wanting that unconditional love and attention and hugs and stories and attention?

I hope u are pediatrishun (sp?) when u graduate.

Good work! Keep it up! We need to see more published stuff from you, esp with regard to children... :)

Farzana, if u are here, kaisi ho? Long time?

Missed ya. Remember me? Im shure im Aamir is very flattered and honored that interacted on his poem. He is a `barra fen` of your work like i am,

i know.

fzk
