``what the hell do you mean....just go ahead and say it in plain English...is that so hard to do?``
You summoned?
The Drumzial interpretation:
``Is it that your lip
stick is redder
when the shades
are pulled
over only two
windows? When there is a forty
against my wrist?
Listless;
my lips
cling to the liquor-
soaked rim.``
-The blocking of her eyes brings new attention to her lips, as duz the fact that he`s pissy drunk (ie bout 2 get freaky).
``I mull
over the pattern
in the DNA
of my
desire.``
-S/he wants to get laid.
I think Mahim is better at this then I...
(Note: there`s a much deeper interpretation to the first verse but ya can`t feed meat to babies- juss playing).

Mahim,
What kind of education/background do you expect your readers to have in order to understand what you write?
I sware I don`t have a clue as to what you`re trying to say.... probably its just me. Obviously chowk editors understood your poem and decided to publish it.
How is the contribution to the Pakistani society coming along?

Nice minimalism. It`s hard to pull off sometimes.
Hope to see more!

A forty is a large bottle of beer popular with college boys. Vivez Molson Bleu Dry!
Ah, am so fascinated with men and their desire for women.
Glad someone enjoys my Friday Times work. The column is a pleasure to write. I like messing with my readers.
``If you fondle my trigger, don`t blame my gun``

Mahim:
I like the thought but am a little concerned with the imagery. Usually one receives if one gives but liquor, lipstick and substances with DNA in abundance are auxillary to the act. May the force be with you......

Desire is never far away from any serious poet.
Some strong symbolism here.
``When there is a forty
against my wrist?``
Need a little help understanding the line above.
