Pakistani News
Brainwashed into hating India, Pakistanis have become willing slaves of the Chinese of the Arabs. Their tin-pot dictators and generals scurry to China every weekend; Saudi Arabia houses one of their prime ministers, keeps their country afloat with small doles and handouts, and exports to them a fanatical brand of violent, anti-shia, anti minority Islam. The land of Jinnah the secularist has been sacrificed at the alter of false egos inflated by the rhetoric of over-armed, over-pampered military men who keep the fire of Kashmir alive using the most brutal means imaginable. Brought up on the world`s most biased curriculum, taught to consider religoious hatred natural and religious exclusion a religous duty, misled by a press that resorts to white lies on matters of Kashmir, the hungry, dying nation`s Sunnis, Shias, and persecuted minorities cheer for the ``liberation of Kashmir.``
ISLAMABAD, Jan 14 (APP)- General Muhammad Aziz, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), left here Sunday evening for Beijing on a week-long visit of the People’s Republic of China. During his visit, General Muhammad Aziz is scheduled to call on senior Chinese military officials and others. At the Islamabad airport, he was seen off among others by Lt. General Syed Parvaiz Shah, Director General, Joint Staff and the Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan Mr. Lu Shulin.
Musharraf’s special envoys call on King Fahd
ISLAMABAD, Jan 14 (APP): The Special Envoys of the President of Pakistan, Federal Minister for Communications & Railways Lt. Gen. (Retd) Javed Ashraf accompanied by former Federal Minister Mohammad Ijaz ul Haque called on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and the Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal bin Qbdul Aziz Sunday. The Special Envoys had earlier called on Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud on January 12, says a message received here Sunday. During their meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Special Envoys handed over a letter from the President of Pakistan General Pervez Muhsarraf and communicated the concerns of the Government of Pakistan in the context of the tense situation resulting from the massing of Indian troops on the border. King Fahd bin Qbdul Aziz expressed appreciation for the policies and efforts of the Government of Pakistan for de-escalation of the situation in the region. The two sides reiterated the close brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. During discussions with the Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal, besides the situation on Pakistan - India borders, views were exchanged on Pakistan’s principled decision to join the international coalition against terrorism, the situation in Afghanistan and the Middle East.

OK peoples, enough with the chutzpah already.
New word: mitzvah.
Please discuss, with reference to 1971 Indo-Pak war and Mutton Biryani. Do not confuse with mikvah.
Please also suggest how to introduce into Pinkyfeld saga. (I know that Samina Shah also will thank you for this.) Mitzvahmobile a real possibility.

Dear soysauce:
a time to modify the Hebrew Bible.
From
``a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace``
to
a time to LOVE and NO time for HATE, NO time for WAR and a time for PEACE.
Peace be upon the subcontinent. Amen

``I should get some points for not mentioning a particularly evil empire... ``
Yes, yes! I have actually been smiling reading your posts, noting that the evil empire escaped censure yet again :)
The very best wishes for your exams. Keep posting. You are a delightful and wise young man. I learn a lot from your posts.

Dude, don`t assume for a single moment that I`d dignify your insistance for suras from the Quran. My joke was not slandering the Quran, it was poking fun at an interactor who has so many nicks, he can`t keep track of them, and reverts in an unstable manner between them. My comparision was to the practice of having as many wives as you could satisfactorily support. If you can`t be consistant, you do a disservice to you many and sundry nicks.
If everyone knows you have about 20 nicks, and that you`ve used them to give a deceptive impression of a false and diverse community that agrees with you opinions, and everyone knows it, why bother? It seems to be a lot of unnecessary trouble for you. Maybe you like the attention.
Btw, when have you worn the burqa and in what cicumstances?
Manymany place, ok? For example:
Chemist.
PTA Meetiung
Newark Airport
Football locker room.
Beauty Parlor
Rocky Mountains on two week hike
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Vacuuming living room
Doctor’s Surgery (Nurses also wore hijab, ok?)
Grocery shopping
What your point is?

Crisis of Identity:
A close psychoanlaysis of the nonsense posted by Mr. Nasah will reveal the deep dark inferiority complex that Indian Muslims have developed... ofcourse in a society where the spectrum of Moderation to extremism ranges from Rafiq Zakaria and Imam Bukhari, nothing better could be expected... Sadly the Indian Muslims have not yet accepted their secular identity as Indians... even their objections to Pakistan are based on their conception of `Ummah`... ``we the Muslims would be much stronger today if Pakistan was not created because we would be 450 Million to 800 Million Hindus`` ... this the basic premise of the entire argument of that book `The man who divided India` for example. It is always `we the Indian Muslims who can live in dignity` ... or earlier in the words of Bhartiya Musalaman... we should have a separate forum for discussion because we are not those Pakistanis ... and we are not Hindus either.
As per yesterday`s speech, the dream that Pakistan was in 1947 of an egalitarian and libertarian state as espoused by Jinnah`s speeches in that critical first year of our nation`s life, is on the verge of realization. This is not optimism.. this is a reality. I can just imagine what it must have been like for an Indian Muslim to hear that speech... for decades now Indian Muslims have consoled themselves with grandiose self-estimate aka collossal misconception that they are better than Pakistanis in everything... A visit to Pakistan would set them straight but ... yesterday
Nasah`s world was shattered. Here was a co-religionist, a Pakistani who was putting forth a vision for the nation that was to be progressive modern and libertarian once more... The entire western media hailed it as the `renaissance and reformation of Islam`... interesting for Allama Iqbal had put forth the same reasons in 1930 while expounding upon the need of a Muslim Majority state. I can just imagine how utterly shattering it must have been for Nasah to watch that... all of a sudden the superiority complex of `we are a secular democracy` must have vanished... the monster-like Advani and Vajpayee would have loomed large as shadows in Nasah`s suspicious little congressite`look-at-me-I-am-an-Indian-Muslim-I-am-so-cool` mind ... India must not have looked that secular after all.
So he decided to attack Pakistan for its stance on Kashmir... a stance vindicated by the UN resolutions. I wonder what made Nasah think that the speech was aimed at India... Musharraf`s actions in going after the extremists in Pakistan is a constant... he is doing it because he knows it is for the betterment of Pakistan... so we dont care... we really don`t care what you think of Musharraf`s speech... it was for us, not for you.
You think we are scared of you attacking us... try that and we will give a good account of ourselves.
We have had enough of Indian belligerance and grandiose misconceptions of its own greatness...
I personally would rather live in a Quasi Military rule, than be part of a democracy which thrives on war mongering... `oh I want to win the election, let me indulge in brinkmanship.` ... `Oh elect us we will make India a Nuclear power` ... `oh elect us we will make India a true home of Hinduvta and we will destroy Pakistan`... so whatever you think you are... You dont intimidate us any more...

After reading Mr. Musharraf`s mazmoon (speech)and the howl of protests it aroused from the Jihadis all over Pakistan -- reminds me one of Akber Allahabadi`s famous couplet:
Boot Dawson ney banaya, meiN ne ek mazmooN likhaa
mera mazmooN ruh geyaa, hur turf joota chal geyaa
My prayers for Mr. Mushrraf`s mazmoon.
