Interesting... Californets, huh? Initially, I thought you named us that because of the Silicon Valley Network connection.

A.H. Cemendtaur,
this piece reminds me of a ``brief`` time I spent in Californet in the mid 70`s. (Man those brownies tasted awful).
Great imagination used here but like the 70`s,
Disco did us all in.

a h cemendtaur:
you have many symbolisms here. yet no real direction. the piece isn`t going anywhere. though you have good imagination this piece was rather dull. you should write more.
temporal:
nasim zehra is usually the last ones to jump off a sinking ship or a boat that isn`t going anywhere ( ie terhik-e-insaaf party). i suppose she`s finally realized that the Faujis are just pissing around.
i`m glad she`s off of them (i wish she had stuck with tehrik-e-insaaf though). as the elections approach, more and more are ready to give up hope on the faujis being fair, faujis being not corrupt, and faujis being sincere.
however, she still has hints of apologetisism in this piece of hers. she continues to dish out `musharaf is really well meaning` krap. actions are all that counts. and musharaf is a stubbornly demented a-ss.
but be that as it may, as the fauji fuks unravel their ugly work, let us live with the saying `may you live in interesting times` :)

REAL LIFE `MOVEMENT`
The more things appear to change the more they remain the same…the horizon is dark…seems musharraf is bent upon NOT learning from the mistakes of the past…the only lining over the horizon is … well….perhaps this time the ordinary folks will rise…refuse to bite the ruse…but what cost for the change …if it comes through…and this time it could very well be a `real` independence movement...

Nasim Zehra
The illusion of being able to `control` that comes from wielding state power appears to dominate the thinking of those in power. There is no time for reflection. Only time to be `practical` with the objective of succeeding in producing `appropriate` results in the October elections. A firsthand account of how an aspiring politician was called in to be `tutored` in what political strategy he must adopt confirms the worst rumour about the `path to hell` this government may pave with its good intentions. That must not happen.

AH:
…the allegorical buildup was promising…but somewhere along the way the plot became too convoluted and foggy…perhaps if the metaphors directed the readers towards some well established targets the story would have made greater headway…as i read it now the associations that emerge are too conflicting…and its ending is a whimper not a high note…nice effort…hope you will continue to write….

Forget about freedom movements, first try doing a simple thing like not paying your traffic ticket and survive the`enmity` which will result.
