RZaidi, Islam is not too different from any other religion. Sex is one of the most important issues in Islam. Whether its sex discrimination, sex punishments, sex stories, sex manners, sex laws or sex with 70 Hoors as a reward hereafter.
And those who do not practice or belive in Islam can not make Islam look like uncivilized barbaric religion.

I dont believe how you could have written something like this and how everybody responding to it is so NORMAL about the whole thing!
You and all people like you are the ones who make ISLAM look like an uncivilized barbaric religion! All you people think about is sex and just because Islam doesnt allow sex outside the institution of marriage Islam is an unfair religion...well let me make this clear...Islam is not unfair and Islam was and continues to be the best religion in the world. Its obvious that you guys need to get in control of your raging hormones and think with your minds instead of your d**ks!!
The day you start doing that you`ll know better than to blame Islam and all of the Muslim world for something that you`re deprived of!
and please please do us all a favor and stop calling yourself a Muslim!

The practice you`re referring to is called Muta`a and it cannot be done with anyone at anytime!! the girl has to be an adult and it has to be with the consent of her father or grandfather, who also have to bear witness to the whole event. It is a temporary marriage and all conditions of a permanent Nikah apply, but the Muta`a can only be done under special circumstances. The Sigheh that you mentioned are actually the verses recited at the proper Nikah that takes place between a man and a woman.
I suggest you get your facts straight and then decide what places a bad reputation on the name of Islam!

Get real! Do yuo have any idea as to the extent of incest in Pakistan?!? Probably not!
read: http://www.popcouncil.org/pdfs/rr/rr_11.pdf
``excerpt: Out of the cases Sahil monitored in 1997, 6 percent involve incest; and this does not reflect the true extent of the practice since most
such cases are unlikely to be reported. In the WAR study cited above, 5 percent of the 149 cases analyzed involve incest committed by step-fathers and uncles, but the author warns that incest rarely makes it to the press although the problem is more common than is widely believed. Another Islamabad-based project to tackle child sexual abuse, Aangan, analyzed a randomly selected pool of 100 confidential letters it had received from
victims/survivors of child sexual abuse. Forty-seven of them were incest cases.``
and
http://www.psychohistory.com/htm/eln03_terrorism.html
excerpt: ``Studies such as a recent survey of Palestinian students show that the sexual abuse of girls is far higher in Islamic societies than elsewhere, with a large majority of all girls reporting that they had been sexually molested as children.12 Even marriage can be considered rape, since the family often chooses the partner and the girl is as young as eight.``
Don`t equate arrest figures with prevalence.

No, I am not annoyed with you simply because I asked you for a reply and hence whatever reply you gave could have been avoided by not interacting. So, fault is mine and I have no right to get annoyed with you.
As I said it was my wrong judgement and I never thought you would try to impute motive where there was none. Once earlier I told you that you are a `Nek` (Decent, Nice) person and so I prefer not getting into arguement with you. Therefore there was no reason for me this time to try to be oversmart with you. There are many other people on this site with whom I can indulge in this kind of third class communication.
Have a great Life.
