Ah, Chowk branches out!
Interesting article! Does anyone remember that nasty little satirist Son of Kingsley, Martin Amis? (I actually, cough! like him). Anyway the story goes he had an Englishman`s teeth (i.e. dreadful) and upon getting a big stinking contract with an American publishing company dropped a great deal of money to get a complete teeth overhaul (hows that for technical dental jargon Mr. Bashir :)). Now his choppers outshine the caps on Mt. Everest....and the limey press gleefully noted so...

vibe #9,
that`s too bad, that technology is getting pretty popular, it`s not just for orthodontists now.

Re: 2,3
Yes i work for the invisalign software development team. Unfortunately Invisalign decided to shut down its operations both in pakistan and in UAE. A very sad moment, not just for the people who put their heart and soul into the ``Align`` dream to make it a success, but also for the future of tech industry in pakistan.
God bless pakistan and its people!!

This was very funny. Thank you.
Tennessee Williams once wrote ``. . .I had begun to think that a smile was something that people performed by a muscular contraction at the corners of their mouths. In a short while I found out that a smile can be something that happens between the heart and the eyes, and that the muscular spasm about the mouth may be only the shadow of it.``

...now i know why i dread those visits to the dentist:)...btw, do you work for align?...

just because some dentists got addicted to nitrous oxide (laughing gas, sweet air..etc) and
overdosed into death and we read about it in newspapers, doesn`t mean dentists are suicidal.
they`re just as much suicidal as physicians, or lawyers etc.
the obsession with smiles and details is a given, comes with the territory of working in millimiters and precision work ethics.
so you work for Invisalign?

this is quite amusing...and now I know why I fastidiously avoid dentists/orthodontists :-)
got a chuckle out of these:
“No mom I cannot marry this girl because she has an abnormally raised palatal dome in what otherwise looks like a perfect face to you.”
Or,
“Yes the girl is pretty and educated but does she have an ideal overbite?`` ``What? Yes? (with an expression of stark disbelief) Ok how about overjet?``
