teunkens/Ansari/arjun_m,

Hey this is a coincidence! I am linked closely with Yukta Mookhey too!

Remember the time her Suzuki Baleno was stolen? Well, there were reports of it being seen zipping along Aeroli bridge.
heck, I used to take that bridge to work almost every day!!!

(Sorry guys it`s just that kind of weekend)

Teunkens, I`m in Karachi these days. And yes, the world seems to be getting smaller as we speak!

Hey Ansari, it indeed is a small world. You will be suprised to know that Yookta Mookhey is related to me. Her cousin sister is married to my cousin. I know it is not the closest relation you could get, but still. BTW, where are u located now?????

arjun_m, Teunkens; did I ever tell you I went to school with Yukta Mukhey? Yup we were in kindergarten together as well as first grade. Imagine my surprise then when I found out she`d made Miss World! We used to be two of three desi kids in a class full of otherwise English children and would take special pride in swearing at each other in Urdu/Hindi without anyone ever figuring out.

It`s a small world, I tell you.

``Aamir played a Hyderabadi paan-coke wallah in the first one, but it is the second ad in the series, which features Aamir as a Punjabi farmer, that has become hot these days. ``

Not true--- he played a Bambaiyya tapori in the first one--- ``abey bina terrace ki building, phodoon kya N-bomb?``
Love the series though. And the Punj one is especially good... ``oh yaaran da tushun dekh lo....``

arjun_m; hehe. . .

teunkens; haan, thought dil se was a litte confused but the songs were great. alai payuthe has some great songs too. there`s one killer called yaro yarodi in the orginal version.

aicha; it`s saathiya we`re talking about. satya, with chakraborty and manoj bajpai, is a different film.

brat; drop me a line? pediatrishun@yahoo.com

arjun_m: ...on the flip side, now every girl in rachana thinks she is aishwarya.

You could say the same about her ex-school (Arya Vidya Mandir) girls as well.

Ansari: Yes, Saathiya is a remake of ALAI PAYUTHE. It was supposed to be a biiiiig hit down south and made Madhavan almost a Hrithik Roshan of the south. Lets hope this one is as good. BTW, Shaad Ali is the son of Mussafar Umaro Jaan Ali and he has been working with Mani Ratnam since Dil Se and only now branching out on his own. About Dil Se I will agree with nooralain. It seemed to me a bit confused movie except of course for the songs. Thankfully, Saathiya has the same musical team.

Brat...did you really like Dil Se?...other than the songs, `specially Shahrukh doing `chaiyyaN chaiyyaN` on top of the train, i really didn`t care for it all that much. I haven`t seen Zanjeer in years, myself. Almost got it last time I was at the indian store, but got a newer movie instead...oh yeah..another Shahrukh movie!

Ansari: I need to see Zanjeer again, it`s been a long time.
Teunkens: Thanks for the update ;) Watched Dil Se again last night, what a movie! Will definitely wait for Saathiya to come out. It`s refreshing to see new directors, and people experimenting with different kinds of movies.
