Panjabi Mughals are goldsmith and you find many Aurangzebs and babars running naked around hot goldsmith kilns in Rawalpindi. It is amazing how the former rulers of the land of five rivers who once fought against each other are now cooperating. Take for example Mughals, Rajas and Qureshis. They have hatched a conspiracy to monopolize certain sector of economy. Now most barbers are Rajas and Qureshis are butchers. Do you see the nexus between the descendants (real or phony) of Aurangzeb, Pirthaviraj Chauhan and Mohammed Bin Qasim.
The former rulers hatched a conspiracy to rule Pakistan again. The butcher knives for Qureshis and scissors for Rajas were made by Mughals who bought iron and Steel from foundries of Nawaz Sharif. Since Nawaz Sharif was on the top of this mutually benefiting business chain, he was pushed to become prime minister.
The places and private body parts that Mughals could not conquer by force are being reached by their craftmanship. A scissor made by a Mughal can reach into nostrils now without killing. What they did to Ghulam Qadir Rohila, can be done easily by Mughal ustras (a specialty knife) although it is used mostly for circumcision and a substitute for razor.
Once upon a time, Mughal used to endow people with titles called khillat, now they endow with gillette brand name. Once Aurangzeb had naked ambitions for suncontinent, now Mughal Aurangzeb has nude ambitions. Once Auranzeb was a sworn enemy of Sikhs; his descendants know make fashionable kirpans, kaRa, kase - 3Ks out of 5Ks. Another K is in the left hand of Rajas with Mughal brand scissor in the right hand and leaning over the head of customers in barber shops.
Qureshis have also started selling kaRahi gosht in Panjab for the last 20 years. Guess who makes kaRahis? Mughals. In Islamabad, one can get a haircut from Raja Dahar/ Porous/ Chauhan/ Abbasi before having KaRahi gosht from Mohammed Bin Qasim Qureshi cooked in the utensils made by Aurangzeb Alamgir Mughal. All for about 200 rupees within 20 steps of each other, some 200 years later.
Who says, `our culture is not enriched by the invaders`.

Let us leave Auranzeb alone with his exposed humanity here.
Clothes will only distort his image, although Man cannot live by the
power of the sword and underwear for long.

Very fun and enjoyable to read. Your writing has a strange feel to it, that I can`t quite describe (hmm. And I want to be a writer?), but something about grabs at you, softly but slowly, and tugs you in, moving you in big circles, coiling around until you can`t get out. In a good way.

You have great dexterity for story-telling. I like most of your write ups-they are creative and insightful.
And that reminded me of a sikh joke also.
A mother says to his sikh son ``Putar (son) get up. You are getting married. We are going to see a girl for you today``.
Mother and son go to the girl`s house where both families decide that the would-be bride and groom must be given some privacy so that they could communicate and try to understand each other.
So the girl and the sikh are left alone in the drawing room sitting in front of each other.
After an uncomfortable pause of silence the sikh guy shyly asks the girl ``tuhaada naaN ki ay ji? (what`s your name?)``.
``Meena`` girl replies looking at her toes.
Both sit silence for a while and then girl asks ``And what is yours? .....name``.
`say something smart`, `say something smart`, `or you will loose her respect for ever`, sikh guy thinks.
After a while a bulb lights up above sikh`s head and in his mind he comes up with the snazziest idea.
``Kameena..........ji saada naaN Kameen ay (my name is Kameena)``
Girl was naughty. She roles up her big bright eyes and says ``ji shaklooN tay naeeN lagday (you don`t look like one, though)``.
``zara apne naal soofay tay bitha kay tey daikho (just let me sit beside you on the sofa and then see)`` sikh says dancing his eyebrowes.
