Urdu beats the pants off English in poetic expression.

Just wish I had a firmer grasp of it.

amjed...i do prefer the urdu verse much more to the translation...but then i always prefer the urdu! and it`s so nice to be able to read the verse in urdu as well..it`s lovely.

The Urdu piece and the Romanized text beside it got mixed up with another Urdu quartet that is missing ( I think the editors are fixing the mix up). These renditions are neither by Charagh Hasan Hasrat nor by Hasrat Mohani, if you don`t mind lesser mortals.
