Thanks very much ‘i-am-a-cheese’ (#1)

tahmed32 (#4)
Do you have a real name, an identity perhaps? Yes, the article is meant to be funny TahMed-32. Don’t you ever laugh; hakeems say that the activity rids one of constipation? Are you an aggressive American; if yes, then you need to be told that your testosterone is above tolerable limits.
Instead of queuing for an American visa, I enjoy watching relatives from the West (ho move back when their daughters enter teenage), and accepting dead bodies of friends and relatives who wish to be buried back in the motherland.

And my dear JohnGalt (#8)
With pearls of wisdom (like the ones I’ve dissected in the article), who can sit on his hands and sulk? Cheer up my American friend!

Dear Ras (#10)
The only people who are temporarily not in that mood are the ones who run the ‘murder capitol of the world’.

Thanks for reading.
Tahir Gul Hasan

Tahir,

your usual wit and sense of humor is wasted on the topics that

you have tried to tackle here. People are temporarily just not in that

mood....

The author seems to be trying too hard to be funny. Or may be, this is not supposed to be a funny article.

This article is I guess meant to be funny. Why does it sound so pathetic then? As if we have Tahir Hasan Sahib trying to shake off his vague feelings of inferiority to gora Americans by making them the object of his ridicule? Hey, brown, black and oriental Americans are no problem - Mr. Hasan can deal with them!! Its the goras he needs to put in their place in order to feel better about himself!!
Or is it that long visa line for US in Islamabad that he has been standing in that is frustrating him?

I have a dream.

Once the war in Iraq is over, and Afghanistan is pacified, we bring our American troops home. Close every McDonald`s, KFC, Baskin Robbins. We fly all of our military planes home. Every American expatriate goes home. No more American`s working for Aramco, they all pack up and leave Ras Tanura. We ride bicycles to work as I have done for years. No more SUV`s that guzzle foreign oil. Or else they`re required to burn natural gas or propane retrieved from American wells.

We become isolationists once again.

And my tax dollars can stay at home where they belong.

And when the next genocidal maniac starts murdering civilian`s by the MILLIONS, we just stay at home and say:

I TOLD YOU SO...
