Religion is part of the bigger problem I agree!! about the War I think it not a `war for oil` or `war against Islam` its `a war for stategc intrests` as simple as it could get.

Hi Samina dear, I am still alive and kicking. Instead of responding post by post, I have been writing mostly general posts without directing it to any one individual. In this way, I do not feel obligation to go one-on-one as the case is. I am also disappointed with the level of emotionalism and obsession with K words.

Chowk has to do something to attract new interactors. With the current known crowd including myself, the content of the post could be guessed quite accurately without reading it. Many of my favorite interlocutors have disappeared. I do miss fuzair, arun gupta, gymnosophist, shammi and of course, late Bilal Ahmed. I hope you stay.....regards.

To all religion haters..
no matter what you `free-thinkers` do or say, humanity`s obsession with the religion hasn`t lessened, in fact it has increased lately. Middle-east seems to be everybody`s center of attention - be it muslims who bow to makka, or the American neo-con whose qibla lies in tel Aviv. Somehow the legacy of Ibrahim is still very much active in shaping the history. call it good or bad, but that`s the way it is, and it`s Abraham`s birthplace and his progeny at fight once again, and who knows for the last time now...

if anyone`s dreaming for humanity`s `evolution` past religion, they should go to cryogenics and stay frozen for atleast one full millenium....(wait a minute, may be few more millenia, since ABRAHAM AIN`T GOING ANYWHERE anytime soon!!)

Anglo Indians and Christians are not the same. Christians have made India their home. Christians in India have no loyalty to any other country across any border. When they emigate they do so for economic reasons, like other Indians.
