spare us the smokescreen please --
Rumsfield admits He LIED -- no WMDs in Iraq
Bush/Blair -- a Grand Pair of Liars -- Liars Liars their Pants should be on Fire --
ten thousand IraqiS are dead -- 200 Americans are dead -- no water -- no electricity -- no jobs -- no pay -- no health care -- no Municipal adminstration -- no garbage collection -- a total collapse of all civic institutions -- no law order -- total anarchy --
all FOR WHAT?
how these two political monsters -- A PAIR OF INTERNATION OUTLAWS --have wrecked a TWO thousand year old functioning country -- -- INTO A CIVILIZATIONAL COLLAPSE -- in a matter of weeks -- is simply mind boggling --
all based upon a DELIBERATELY CONCOCTED -- WHITE LIE.
``Robin Cook, a former foreign secretary who quit as leader of the House of Commons in protest against the war, said Rumsfeld`s comments vindicated his own stance.
``If Donald Rumsfeld is now admitting the weapons are not there, the truth is the weapons probably haven`t been there for quite a long time,`` Cook told British Broadcasting Corp. Radio.
``It matters immensely,`` he said, ``because the basis on which the war was sold to the British House of Commons, to the British people, was that Saddam represented a serious threat.``
Former Cabinet minister Tony Benn, a member of Blair`s Labor Party, told LBC radio, ``
``I believe the prime minister lied to us and lied to us and lied to us. ... The whole war was built upon falsehood and I think the long-term damage will be to democracy in Britain.``
Labor Party legislator Glenda Jackson said, ``This war was fought on illegal and immoral grounds and there were no reasons for it.``(Reuter)
absolutely no reason for this immoral criminal war -- messing up a functioning country into total anarchy -- for NO REASON.

Oh come on,
Smoking`s so cool. It turns you into this sex god kinda type. What`s the fuss about anyway? The nicotine in smoking is said to confer protection against Alzheimers. I would rather have my sanity at the age of 78 than an atherosclerotic artery or a COPD. And I`ll tell you this now, there isn`t a single study in the world which conclusively links smoking to lung cancer. Not one!
Aas far as heart disease is concerned, I`ll get that from my lipid-rich diet anyway. Cardiac disorders are the biggest cause of mortality in the West. Look what happened to Arnie. And any secondary odoemas or water retention around the ankles from that...they have urine tablets for those. And if I get gout because of the urine tablets...well they have tablets for gout also.
And besides, at the age of 78 the stench of decay emanating from my body will prolly mask the smell of ashes so it doesn`t really matter how much I do it.
Arteries can be patched back. There`s chewing gum for cigarette breath and it`s good to flush your kidneys using the urine tablets. It lessens the chances of getting urinary tract infection. Demented brains can`t be fixed (waiting for some smart@$$ to say that I already have it :)

``Pakka cig`` is the termed I heard 10 years ago, my 1st year at college with SpecialFilter. Althought it all starts with smoking but imagine the situation with 10 pakka`s daily for one. No one deserved that....all were top youth of Pak and the proved through years in all realms esp in Civil Services ...how could they?. The only I disliked were the persons like drivers, we all see university transport carrying our future (youth) twice a day...and Shah Jee (drivers) driving with 2 pakka`s....I cant believe this. Please for this I`m ready to anbuse even smoking...Please!

last post adressed to you (studebaker): calamities; natural or otherwise dont deserve your scowling. i repeat what i said earlier: ``if rehab institutions are such `money of the poor` draining places then you probably need to question their existence in the first place`` and NOT hound people going there for help!

world war 2nd could not be fought without smoking.no doubt it``s very difficult to quit smoking.most of the people succeed in the month of ramazan.if someone is down with hepatitis, earliar symptom is distaste for smoking.most of people quit during illness.what about the wife living with chain smoker.

studebaker:
1. didnot propogate spending money in rehab instiutions
2. have not considered that option for myself ... neither plan to nor feel the need to
3. prevention is another option (not asked for in the first place) that i wish not to consider atleast right now
4. if rehab institutions are such `money of the poor` draining places then you probably need to question their existence in the first place instead of going on about people who go there for help. whats next? saying that retiring homes are a burden on the `money of the poor` and therefore old people should be either gotten rid off or `prevented`!! heh!

#24 Posted by Saminasha on May 28, 2003 7:55:02 am
There is an actual immediate physical reaction to smoking; fatigue, lethargy, trouble breathing. It never bothered me before, but now it does.

Kudos to you Madeha. I hope someone can forward a summary of your article to our government. I did hear that Pakistan banned smoking in public places. Actually, here is the link to that BBC news item:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/2334585.stm
So why has this law not been implemented? Anyone...?
