I don`t think Steve Young has run a company. But he has managed his finances very well. I believe he is a lawyer by profession.

It`s the writer`s take to make a simple affair colorful or make a colorful affair vibrant.

Post # 7 is very sweeping in its contents. A lot of South Asians are quite innovative and despite holding engineering and medical qualifications have done equally well in business and entrepreneural ventures.

The term ``done well`` is very subjective. For some, taking that major step may be overcoming all the roadblocks and acting on ``Who Moved My Cheese?`` whereas for others, it may mean mere business transaction. To each their own!

These gatherings are not everyone`s cup of tea. But let`s not limit ourself to TIE only. Everyone does not perceive life in the same fashion in a room full of people.

Last but not least, wherever human beings are with a purpose, it`s impossible to come out of that session without any gain. That gain may be in the form of knowledge, a new business contact, a new idea, a new person to whom you could relate to or a change of scene as well as people. It`s all on us how we want to adjust ourselves.

How could you learn to be an Enterpreneur or a Businessman or a Politician?. All the Deshis have leanrt to get a degree in engineering or Physics/Chemistry/Maths/and other sciences or a doctor, a lawyer, a dentist so that they do not have to go hungry. I look at this kind of gatherings as a mini congregation of sadhus in a Mela and a bunch of house holders jostling around to get knowledge/enlightenment.

re: IT in the subcontinent
While Indian IT scene looks set to continue with the boom (with some setbacks here and there), one does not hear much about what is happening to IT in Pak. However, some Paki hackers seem to be good at what they are doing. http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_268830,00030010.htm

Being a quarterback, does have a lot to do with people leadership, but, just out of curiousity, has Steve Young ever run a business?
