But what good are those nobel prizes when Jews and Israelis do not know the value of human life. The people who have historically been through deportations, concentrations camps, and gas chambers are doing the same to their fellow human beings by creating the world`s largest concentration camp in Gaza and West Bank; three million human beings are deported from the land where they have been living since God created earth; and they have subjected human beings to a never-ending murder and mayhem which would even put hitler to shame. A nation who has been subjected to racism, itself divides humanity into two castes which they call humans i.e. Jews and sub-humans i.e. ``Gentiles`` the rest. Tell me one good reason that those nobels are worth anything to rest of the humanity. Muslims do not hate Jews because they are Jews and they are getting nobel prizes but because of their injustices and racism and the misery that they have inflicted upon rest of the humanity. Yeah, Israel is the only democracy in a sea of despots, but what good is it for humanity. If you compare the attrocities committed by those despots with that of Israelis upon humanity, those despot seem like choir boys.

Mahatir should not have named ``Jews`` - a blanket statement for every one, who believes in the Jewish faith. It is in bad taste. There are good Jews and there are bad Jews - just like all other religions.

He should have castigated - no matter how much or to what extent, the Israeli government.

Even the Israelis, as people, should not be brushed with the same one stroke.

the song that sigalph235 is singing is the very same song that western media and leaders have been singing for decades; mahathir is actually not a democratically elected leader and neither is malaysia a democratic country. to europeans and their descendants the only nations having true democracy are european or their settlements, rest all is sham.

if IBM, Microsoft are in malaysia then they are there for a low cost manufacturing nation providing stable economic and political environment. there is no altruism in their action. it is a two way street where both parties are benefitting.

regarding the crocodile tears, i think what mahathir is referring to is the ethnic cleansing of muslims in bosnia, 3000 killed iraqis civilians of gulf war two, 50,000 - 70,000 killed kashmiris in india and the genocide of muslims in gujarat. quiet frankly, any decent human being should have tears for such inhumanity.

no matter how you twist the story the gist of the matter is that israel is an illegal state that was forcibly created on the land of palestine. israel is a legacy of ninteenth century colonialism. Other nations like india, indonesia were able to evict their european colonisers but palestinains were not and have become the refugees of middle east.

creation of the state of israel was the problem. that is where the mess started and most probably that nation will take the whole world into a big mess.
