What is this world coming to?
An article on bedding today...wonder what will come next..
Righter, your aticle started off on the right note, lost its charm in the middle and ended too abruptly.
Hopefully, you are still allowed to sleep on the `made-up` bed!

Haider75: You may be expressing the irony, but you are missing the point on the likings and fascinations of women :)

Hope we are square!

Well well ZahraJ. Inspite of my article, you recommend that I go shopping for more bedding accessories?!! I guess you missed the irony of my article. However, I have a sense that you just want to rub it in! ;) My wife would have realized the importance of all that you have mentioned. For me, bedding remains a pillow and sheet.

However, I have no bones to pick with anyone obsessed with the world of bedding. We all got to obsess about something or the other, now don`t we?

`Along came Polly`/`Hum Tum` or `beddingaphobic` people like me, will always highlight the stark differences between the two genders. Like my wife can never understand why I can`t watch a cricket match at a decent hour, when I am recording it as well. Why watch it live, you can watch the whole thing tomorrow? Why all the fanfare to dump on the bed? I guess we both won`t get it!

Haider 75: I am open to any suggestions you may have for a ``perfect`` bedskirt. I have looked into Eddie Bauer, Linens `n Things, Bed Bath and Beyond, Spiegel and you name it. No luck. I guess I may have to come down to the ``not-so-perfect`` ones and learn to accept it! You should defintely check out your local mall and introduce yourself to the heavenly fragrance of Lavender Linen Spray. It`s just like when you go for your laundry, you add fragranced items to clean and soften the clothing. Linen Spray keeps the bedding fragranced and fresh.

I must say this analysis was very close to reality and how women like to utilize their talent, creativity and sweetness to decorate the bedding. It reminded me of the movie Along Came Polly since Ben and Jen had an interesting episode around the tassled pillows.

Now, since we are on pillows, Pier 1 Imports carries some antique looking trunks where you can store all the pillows and other bedding paraphernalia. Those trunks are multi-purpose and can be used for sitting, storage and decoration. Do check them out. You will be pleasantly surprised :)

Again, thank you for a pleasant and detailed analysis on something very close to a woman`s heart!

ZahraJ, I learn something new about bedding, everytime it is discussed. Had never heard of `linen spray` before! Thank you for appreciating the article and good luck in finding the `perfect` bedskirt!

This is a very nicely put analysis on bedding items.

Interestingly, I have been looking for a perfect bed skirt for sometime. Have looked into a few places but cannot stand anything so far. My current one requires to be dumped in the Donation Box or ripped apart in 10 pieces.

The duvet cover has to be bright and beautiful. Light shades kill the beauty of the whole package. The pillows need to be for sensitive neck muscles. Personally, I can only rely on The ComfortPillow™ by Tempur-Pedic® for sweet dreams and restful sleep.

I also need to have Lavendar Linen Spray all over the bedding. I cannot stand the pillow shams. In addition to that the cylindrical pillows are a complete nuisance. The tassles on any item add to the look and feel, but can make the bedding very suffocating in summer months. You have to change the look and feel of the bedding to cherish the 4-5 hours of sleep.

Thank you for a light and lively read.

Gossip, nagging, clothes, shoes!? Good Lord a chauvinist in this 21at century! I ask why anything us women do is considered either sissy or downright crazy. Why is it acceptable for guys to spend precious sleepless nights away from their inviting beds gapping at other men run around in bright suits catching and throwing balls? Now that’s sounds like a carnival to me? How come they can spend hours looking at each others cars and yet more hours talking about them and when we share bedding stories we’re obsessed? I want an answer and I want it NOW!
