Hi Sheela,
A well written article with a powerful message. This short story deserves to go into print in magazines with international and national circulation.

Keep up the good work, Sheela. Abu reminds all of us to promptly and unambiguously will our spare parts to those who need them. It is too hard a decision for a devastated survivor to make when a dear one dies suddenly.

i think your article touched on a very important subject..the hesitation which families feel in donating organs is a glaring issue..which mostly leads to families backing down from performing this herioc deed...
great read..thankyou for sharing a traumatic experience with us.

Sheela.

Heartfelt. Please keep it up.

It truely is a dialema when you need to decide such things.

PS :

And Samankhan is right. You handled it so well, no one will dispute.

Unfortunately all most no one will act too. Can tell you from my own experience. I balked. Trauma was too much. So much for my manhood huh?

Long....but nice. I like the way you created the conflict and how the arguments revolved around organ donation - which is a topic most people in the subcontinent are heistant off!
Anyway, good job.

Ms. Sheela Jaywant,
Though the narration was a bit lenghty, you have captured the feelilngs, emotions and anxiety in a simple and lucid style. And thankyou for bringing out the religious dilemma so naturally, without any bias, and more importantly, without taking potshots at religion.
Regards,
SK.
