I object to the use of adjective ``General`` before Musharaf`s name. The fact on the ground is that he was fired from his job by an elected representative of people of Pakistan. Such adjectives give a semblance of legitmacy to this crook. So I would request everyone never to use ``General`` or ``President`` with his name. It is true that we, the people of Pakistan, have been absolutely disenfranchised by this crook and his band of thugs called naPak fauj, but we must spare no effort to discredit him. Pakistani people in Briton are more politically evloved than us, here is US. They always greet this criminal with rotten eggs on his motorcade.

[General Musharraf’s credibility is on line in regard to the issue of his military uniform. He made a clear and categorical pledge to the nation of Pakistan,.....]
I didn`t need to read any further......miss credibility has been refusing to be linked in anyway whatsoever with mr. musharraf since kargil crisis.......

Mr. Ghori, you have written a first-rate article.
If at the time of signing the LFO agreement with Musharraf, the uniform was kosher for the MMA, than why is it illegitimate now? not that am favouring the uniform. The sad fact is that the hypocrite mullahs were salviating for a rule in the western provinces, so that they could try the Taliban recipe of Islam. But all the vociferous fulminations by the beareded brigade are just ``...full of sound and fury, signifying nothing``.
But more serious is the utterly shamless, unethical, unscruplous and undemocratic stance taken by the parlimentarians and the thekadars of democracy: people like Shaukat Aziz, Ch Shujaat, Rao Sikander ( the don of PPP turncoats), Faisal Saleh; and of course the assorted political whores of the Punjab and the Sindh assembly.
You are absolutely right, when you say that Musharraf is suffering from a confidence-deficit; that despite his rhetoric that the NSC will preclude a future military coup, he is unwilling to hand over the slot of COAS to a successor.
More alarming is the apathy of the people at large; maybe for them itz a non-issue, because there never was democracy in this country. The masses have been reduced to the status of inanimate beings, only focusing on endeavouring to eke out a substitence.
