Well - you did get justice, in a round-about way. Remember the jacka$$ who said ``when big tree falls, grass gets killed`` or some sh!t like that? Well, he died like a d0g, blasted to bits by the tamils. That`s the way god`s justice works ... sometimes.
So let it go.

I don`t think that sikhs have any right to whine now. The truth of the matter is that they started a struggle for freedom, they couldn`t stand the test, they didn`t have it in them to get what it takes, and they gave up. They surrendered and accepted slavery of Hindu on their own free will - so why whine now. In this sense non-Martial Kashmiris are thrice the men, sikhs claim to be. Even after losing three times the number of lives, close to 100k, their spirits are high. It takes sweat and blood to win freedom, not whining. Put up or shut up.

...BTW, it was not a `riot`. It was a well orchesterated murders of innocent sikhs overwhelmed by govt aided mobs and officials.
the same can be said of the Gujrat holocaust...
is it too much to expect inquisitive, yearning and usually well informed indians to write an article or two for chowk about the court decision and the subsequent spontaneous and systematic bonfire of muslims?

``its inability to risk its materialistic stability and its incapacity to speak its mind out against injustices when these are being perpetrated. ``
Well said.

Arora sahab,
It`s nice to have you back. Thanks for the review. I`m looking forward to watching the film.
Gulzar`s Maachis is the only other film I`ve seen dealing with the subject. It`s probably one of his best, a dark and disturbing film that leaves one feeling wounded almost.

Kaura/02 - is correct. Though ``never forget`` seems to be more sustainable than ``never forgive``, the end result usually being the same.
About the movie itself, in this season of otherwise empty halls, tickets were not available (HOUSE FULL/SOLD OUT) for a Wednesday afternoon show in the heart of South Delhi (PVR Saket).
