harish - I dont know how long this is going to be but I have a suggestion if you`re serious about turning this into a book. Just as you and Rohan play off against each other, I think the characters you meet need to play off against their surroundings. I know you said you were absolutely no good at physical description, but I dont think thats true. You dont need to be very poetic about it, a business like affair would be quite as good as long as you can differentiate between tedious and necessary details.
As a road trip, I think that`s called for... and when you`ve done it before, like the time on the road when the headlights gave out, I think you do it very well.

Dear Harish:
I really enjoyed this very nicely written piece! Consistent with the undercurrent of humor running so smoothly throughout it, I simply MUST make the following remarks:
[…so untouched by even cursory intellectual curiosity that the colourful spices and condiments of Ruchi’s kitchen actually mortified the man!]
How can he satisfy intellectual curiosity with colorful spices and condiments?
[I looked at Anupam with my questions all writ in Large Times Roman font size 90 on my face…]
Large Times Roman font size 90!! Now that IS large. (Were those very small questions, or is the face in question really big?)
[…before clearing India’s sexiest test for teenagers, the entrance for the Indian Institute of Technology.]
So, contemporary I.I.T. tests are “sexy”? Alas! The glory of those bygone days when these tests required countless nights of lost sleep, hard, hard work, nothing but a deep, driving, desire to come out on top, and an almost missionary zeal!
Sincerely,
BeeJay.

``The Geet Govind is a confluence of Sufi and Bhakti``
Amazing. Is there any evidence to support this statement?
What did sufism add to Geet Govinda that wasn`t already available in Sanskrit literature?
