I never said anything about declaring homosexuality illegal or called it a crime. Homosexuals have every right to do what they want to do. But my question was purely out of curiosity and academic, and I was definitely not suggesting anything.

vivek - its not a genetic disorder because it is neither genetic nor a disorder. there has been considerable amounts of research done into this in the past few decades and science can find nothing to say it has something to do with your genes any more than heterosexuality. i dont know where you live but if you live in the US then you should be able to walk into any barnes and noble and come out clutching five million books on the subject. if you live in india, then check out dr, saleem kidwai.

urstruly - homosexuality is not a disorder and it is not a choice - it is a sexual orientation. you like girls [well not noticeably given your obsession with sending them to hell but presumably for some purposes you do] but some men like other men.

If it means that it is an instinctive behaviour, then sure it is genetic and if it is a learned behaviour then it may be psychological disorder. However, I am of the opinion that all of us are genetically programmed for both orientations at the same time. Later our learned behaviour, thru interaction with society - since it takes two to tango - makes it our conscious choice.
