Kamath..wearing a turban and beard is even more dangerous. Some freakin` redneck might then confuse me for an arabic sandnigger supporter of bin Laden...and shoot me dead anyway ;)

Sifjal , you are another example of a typical Pakistani idiot living in cuckoo land...The West is not talking about India or India`s actions in Kashmir (after all , 80,000 people killed in Kashmir by Indian Army you say - how many of them were Americans or British ..hahahaha)....what the West is concerned about is fanatic suicide bombers and other assorted terrorists from Pakistan. The West is deeply worried about people who hate our way of life - democracy and freedom , equality and secularism..the Islamic extremists.
Indians love the west. And these days the west loves India. Indians can go on happily killling your `innocent` Kashmiri muslims and raping your beautiful Kashmiri muslimah sisters (over 100,000 over the last 15 years)...and the west couldn`t care less....;)

Morarji Desai was a wonderful Indian PM, who like many pacifist co-religionists of the ilk we have on our hands here, used to drink urine daily. I don’t say that there is anything wrong with the partaking of that beverage if your heart so desires, but it seems from their gloating, and Paki/Muslim bashings, that maybe some of our Indi friends here have let the inebriating toxics from drinking too much of those body fluid discharges go to their heads a lot. Maybe they use stuff laced a little too heavily with brain numbing venom. Either that or maybe they are drunk with jobs like the destruction of Babri Mosque or the Gujrat blood letting, or maybe even rapine and pillage in Kashmir. Be that as it may, it would behoove everyone if we stop spewing poisonous vitriol against one another. There already is enough hatred in the world. As we know, Pakistan is not a perfect nation, but than neither is India such a wonderful bastion of angels. Remember, every time you point a finger at someone, three of your own fingers are pointing at you. After all, it was not so long ago when the Indians were so hard on the run that if someone would even murmur the word “Chinese!” they would forget putting on even their pants before scampering for dear life. But times change. Usually the bigger and more powerful nations condescend to offer assurance to the less powerful and fortunate, like China recently did in the case of India. As opposed to this, India is vying for a Security Council seat and posturing with the pomposity of a nation on the threshold of becoming some sort of a power, yet no Indi just can seem to get out of the rut of bashing Pakistan anywhere he can. A recent example being Jagmohan’s dig against Pakistan, while on trip to the US, and people like Kane, Arjun etc here. The US is being all hunky dory with the Hindis these days because they wish to use them against the Chinese, but probably they have not heard the saying we know since ages here, that a hundred crackers are worth a single blow from a truncheon.
(Its laughable to suggest that with your Indian looks you could escape racial profiling!).

Ah! a slave speaks...I do not take seriously when a slave speaks of her/his mentality. You were ruled by Muslims and now by the West, its just that you do not understand, for how can you you are but slaves...it just a matter of time, when Muslims or any one else will start ruling you next, your tone will be same against the West, like at the moment it is against Muslims and Pakistanis, and the wise people of the West will than ignore you just like us!

Irony is that the focus does shift.
Focus on chowk maybe. Focus of the real world, I`m afraid not...

Now, this in unfair. Obviously, your previous post alluded to the focus on Chowk. You are switching gears now.

Zahra : ``What does Gujrat has to do with this article?
It appears that the ``intellectuals`` have decided to convene at this board to discuss irrelevant subject matter.``
Zahra....great observation. Pakistanis seem to live in some cuckoo land where the entire world is talking about Modi and Gujarat and not about suicide bombers , Islam and terrorists from Pakistan. People in the west are hardly concerned about about Modi or `hindu fanatics` . .... What they worry and are scared about is whether the Pakistani guy in their bus could be carrying a bomb in his bag....
What Indians worry about is whether they can get shot or bashed for looking like Pakis or mistaken for muslims.....
Its high time Pakis wake up. Tahmed for instance seems to live in a spider hole where his only access to information is chowk. He needs to step out more often. Or visit a few popular American interactive websites instead of chowk for an hour or two - most of which are seething with hatred for Islam , muslims and now after the London incident - particularly the Pakistanis. People like Arjun , Ranjit and myself will appear dhimmis in comparison to majority of the interactors in American websites.

Why don`t you wear a turban and sport a beard like a good old Sardarji? Then no one will mistake you for a Pakistani Muslim. Is it not a good idea?

It is said if you have nothing good to say better remain silent. Further there are some manners, if you violate, even the right thing said looks unacceptable. The article invited criticism by it very nature. The reason is simple the article is written in a manner as the person is bonafied state policing in0charge. It becomes even more critical (or worse) for it is coming from the person who apparently belongs to a country which itself has huge man slaughtering history. In the recent past, Indian government itself admits killings of over 80,000 kashmiries in violence since last decade or so apart from regular anti-Muslim and irregular Anti-Christians drive in other states.
The media has also created a very negative image about Hindus, and reading CHOWK, it is only being seconded.
I personally think that the writers on CHOWK should become more responsible and chose words carefully, after all that is an important aspect of education to say things carefully.
Even though I am personally against fanatics claiming to be Muslims’ killing innocents, I am proud to be Pakistani origin and on top of it a Muslim. And I feel so happy when I see Muslim girls observing hijab gracefully in the West to highlight their identity and men proudly appearing in Muslim attire. We are not concerned with what world media says about us out of either total ignorance or malign, for whatever they say about sun spreading light, it will remain doing its job as it is destined to do!

why fewer terrorists come from democratic countries?
Democracy is not an issue at all.
Some of the most violent terrorists are being raised in different parts of Europe, right in the comforting laps of the best European democracies.
In the Middle East, one can search in vain for any positive difference democracy has made to decreasing public enthusiasm for terrorism.
Beyond that list remain only a few democratic nations. All of them - except Canada, for their own reasons, make the cost of nurturing and propagating terrorist ideologies extremely high.

Re: # 98 Kalchakra: Actually they don`t consider themselves to be a part of their adopted country. A Briton of Pakistani origin is actually a Pakistani. He does not identify with Britain. He identifies with Pakistan. His participation in British elections does not make a difference to the outcome. Whereas backhome there is no democracy. So virtually this guy is disenfranchised. He is powerless to affect any change of policy. Indian Muslim makes sure by his voting behaviour that BJP does not win. He feels empowered. Islam is the same for both. Of course the issue cannot be that simple and unidimensional.

Suicide killings are an expression - however twisted that may appear to us - of power, not powerlessness.
If you notice, suicide murders take place ONLY where some connection to a religious `other` either exists or can be rhetorically manufactured.
Where there is no hate toward a religious other, there are neither suicide murders nor public support for such murders.

Irony is that the focus does shift. Many of the ``non-pakis`` start responding in their equally uncivilized behavior. How can the pot call the kettle black ? :)

What does Gujrat has to do with this article?
Most pakis think if they say modi 5 times, gujrat 7 times and brahma sleeping with saraswati 2 times, the focus will shift from Pakistan`s support to Islamic jihadis...
Funny how that`s never worked before....
