kashmiris do have a problem and it needs to be addressed.
The kashmiris are free to move to Pakistan if THEY have a problem..
What makes muslims in general and kashmiris in particular so special that their concerns need special attention..

we are the IT gurus of the world because we`ve got a few dozen call centres in silicon valley (read bangalore) !!!!!
Even if India was running only call centers, it will have 20 billion $$ in IT exports this year..Pakiland, even after trying really really hard, is still at 50 million $/yr..
Indians: call center workers
Pakis: not good enough to hack it at call center workers..
joke`s on you..
p.s. Search the Intel jobs website for what kind of jobs are available with Intel in India and in Pakistan..Check Info Tech and engineering..you`ll be surprised(and not pleasantly) at the jobs listed

I should have written further dilution (to make it meaningless), already it is diluted.

Your maganimity and (not losing marbles) equanimity are simply breath taking.
>>>>but what makes me sick to the tee is the apathy shown by some indians <<<<
Once again we Indians are endlessly amused when Pakis talk about universal principles, Kashmiri sufferings, etc. If you find it hard to understand us we find your attitude VERY HARD, MUCH HARDER to understand.
>>>>kashmiris do have a problem and it needs to be addressed.... in fact, it needs to be solved... <<<<
The only ``solution`` that is acceptable to them is dilution of Indian soverignity, which simply means there is no ``solution``. There are muslim majority districts, villages, neighbhourhoods in all states across the length and breadth of India, you have any ideas for their ``liberation``?
>>>>sometimes we don`t want to accept it just because the truth hurts... <<<<
Indians have been pointing out many home truths repeatedly in response to your rantings, either u don`t read them or don`t want to accept them because ``truth hurts``
>>>>the kashmiris will be given at least as much rights as are given to muslims living in other muslim-majority areas of india``
Your paki education is in full display here!

Regarding my post in #189, after a 2nd reading of my post, for some reason, I don`t feel
terribly glad that I wrote it. .... I am not sorry that I wrote it - but not too glad either.

Dear Kaami
I`m a Keralite and I find my mother tongue Malayalam quite mellifluous to hear when spoken well. Of course when it`s spoken with a bad English accent ....I admit it sounds quite terrible, like waste flowing down a drain.
I do believe most Englishmen cannot speak English well, which is why they have so many European coaches for English football teams. The rest of the English understanding world need to understand the coaches when they speak on television.
P.S. Do tell your English colleague that .......-)

Actually they are everywhere now ...
> 1. the employees here get paid less than one fourth of what their counterparts in the west > get [not to mention that their technical competence also suggests the same]
Payment is low because cost of living is low ... Duh !
The problem now though, is that we are nearing saturation in Tire A cities.
Just watch as Meerut, Lucknow etc towns come online. India will start changing THEN.
> 2. people here speak ``fluent`` english [and that too .... gutter drain than a human being speaking]
Yeah we think the same of all those english, german et al .... :)
On doordarshan, sometimes we used to have the parodies of converations between a
foreigner (english speaking usually) and a desi .... and that was a sample of the more
civilized jokes..
> on another note, how come everyone working in these call centres seem to be called
> john, mary, david or julie ;)
Arre yaar, that is simple to explain. We want to make prospective customers feel
comfortable that they are talking to one of their own.
A close analogy would be your grand grand grand father named his son Vikram. But after
Vikram`s sister was raped by the Arabs, and he converted to Islam, he started calling
himself Ayub and the sister Ayesha. You see you don`t want to antagonize the source
of your livelihood or life (as the case might be).
> P.S.: i know it`s in poor taste but just couldn`t stop myself
Me too :)

i m quite sorry that i offended so many people... notwithstanding that i ``thought`` i could understand the indians stand on kashmir because it`s certainly not easy or even practical for them to give away a part of their country to another country, or for that matter give it a certain level of autonomy... had i been an indian, i might have had similar opinions...
but what makes me sick to the tee is the apathy shown by soe indians, who just give it a i-am-fine-with-it attitude and simply want the ``status quo``... it`s like saying: ``well pal, you are in dire straits and i`d rather you remain like that...``
kashmiris do have a problem and it needs to be addressed.... in fact, it needs to be solved... we`ve already wasted too much time (and human lives) only `adddressing` the issue and not doing anything about it... it`s high time we solved it... or rather india solved it
most of the times we know when we are right and when we are not... it`s just that sometimes we don`t want to accept it just because the truth hurts...
i`ll be very happy if i wake up tomorrow and somebody tells me that the indian authorities and the kashmiris have agreed to live ``together`` in peace and the kashmiris will be given at least as much rights as are given to muslims living in other muslim-majority areas of india

Ahhh..... the IT gurus of the world.....
we are the IT gurus of the world because we`ve got a few dozen call centres in silicon valley (read bangalore) !!!!!
and the only reasons why these call centres are based in india and not anywhere else where they are actually supposed to be .....

and
2. people here speak ``fluent`` english [and that too only because when they first went to school, their parents told them to avoid speaking any of their keralas or malayalams or kannads because these are too embarassing -- and which, to quote a british colleague of mine, sound more like wastes flowing down a gutter drain than a human being speaking]
on another note, how come everyone working in these call centres seem to be called john, mary, david or julie ;)

``Looks like my statement of #142 i.e. The very fact that the Indian constitution has a 370 is a tacit admission that Kashmir is not an ``atoot ung`` of India like Kerala or others. has hit a few raw nerves. Nevertheless, it is quite true. ``
It sure hit raw nerves becuase of your blatant display of delusional thinking which has
come to define pakis lately. So if india is still soft on the secessionists trying to give them some space and time to turn around, trying to win their hearts by giving them special priviliges you say it is because India does not consider them part of India. If india had flooded the state with outsiders you would have said India is a oppressor, does not care about human rights etc. Actually india should follow what kashmiri muslims have done
to their minorities, drive the minority muslims out of kashmir and bring back the old hindu culture back to the valley. After all, what is good for the goose is good for tha gander and muslims are just a minority in India - just like pundits dont count in kashmir

Who has raw nerves here?! For us this statement of yours sounds like typical puki fantasy such as “we are holding India on a tight leash, we are making concessions to India, we are holding India under the fire, etc, etc”. These statements/ attitudes are not only getting irrelevant, but increasingly hilarious.
You have lost diplomatic, strategic, economic clout, and moral clout too (if u had any) because of the way you conduct your internal affairs- .i.e no freedumb, no self-determination inside the country, but talk about these when it is convenient and useful as in the Kashmir “dispute”.
I have sumthing for ur “raw” puki nerves:
Declare on paper, i.e write a constitution that declares in plain English that all human beings (Ahamadiyyas included) living in pukistan are equal citizens. Not the usual dhimmitude crap about our holly propet (Piece B U him) taught us to be benevolent to every one, etc, etc
Come back to us and talk to us about “universal principles” “freedumb”, “self-determination”, etc.
