Yeah..Gandhi - the old fool who used to dress like an untouchable , wake up every morning , pick up the broom and clean community toilets along with the untouchables , was a racist ...and all those who support him , admire him or idolise him (Nelson Mandela , Martin Luther King , Albert Einstein , Franklin Roosevelt etc.) were racists as well.
Damn..I thought Hamdani was lunatic enough. His wife is worse. Losers.

Tahmed Sahib #480, {``Let us just agree to disagree, but I hope you will give some thought to what i wrote in #418 - I wish you all the best in real life AND on chowk (unlike those on chowk who cant stand it when you are at your best on chowk.)``}
Sir,
Thank you for your kind words. Chowk Staff, in their usual sophomoric measures to control discussion and to ban dissenters, have tried to block my IP address. These imbeciles do not understand that I have access to numerous IP addresses, not to mention nics. Now do you understand why we have to resort to multiple nics and access methods, just to be heard?
Regardless, my work on Chowk is completed. In addition to others, e.g. Omar, Echoboom, Dehliwalla, Chusni, and Mr. Montag, I have exposed Chowk Management and Staff to be hypocrites, frauds, and oppressors of free speech.
I will now depart from Chowk to focus my efforts in the real world.
I want to thank all my good friends on Chowk for their friendship and support.
Khuda Hafiz, Au Revoir, A Dios, Sayonara, Sat Sari Akal, Namaste, Good Bye, and Patu Patu Hari Hari to everyone. :)
As they say in Northwestern Bulgaria, may all your bowel movements be effortless. :)

If you are a paki, then you have to be paranoid about something, you got to have a pet-hate. The regular pakis have jews,hindus,americans to hate .... and the secular pakis .... well, it seems like the secualr pakis didn`t find anybody else to hate, so they resurrected MK Gandhi as their pet-hate.
The way this gandhi-hate is brewing - I won`t be surprised if YLH and Aisha someday show up at Gandhi masoleum with dynamite belts arounds their chests, to suicide-bomb the heck out of the dead man.
So, those who personally know these two loosers, please get in touch with their extended family. This paranoia has to stop before it`s too late. For the sake of the little zoya.

[Gandhi is a racist and everyone defending him is a racist. He was a stooge propped up by the British - monkey and dugg-duggi if you ask me. Jinnah is the best national leader you`ll ever have, if you don`t have a fetish for exposed ribs that is.]
So, would you have liked Gandhi if he wore Savile Row suits like Jinnah did to cover up HIS emaciated body?
Actually, Jinnah is the best National leader YOU and Pakistanis will ever have. Look at all those who followed him. Yep, he IS still the best, unless of course you count Liaqat Ali Khan, Iskander Mirza, Ayub Khan, Zulfikhar Ali Bhutto, Zia ul-Haq, etc.
You know, if you hang all their pictures, we would be hard-pressed to pick them out from the 9/11 hijackers.

YLH: You wrote a fine article. You did the right thing by ignoring the garbage written by Indian posters to you and your wife.
#480 Posted by tahmed32 on August 22, 2005 7:25:54 am
Salim #434 I had to dig through dozens of garbage posts from indians to see your response to my earlier post.
Anyway...it is not that i am being diplomatic in differing with you in my post. I really believe what I am saying there is correct. Let us just agree to disagree, but I hope you will give some thought to what i wrote in #418 - I wish you all the best in real life AND on chowk (unlike those on chowk who cant stand it when you are at your best on chowk.)

Aisha,
From what I gather, you and Yasser have been doing well together in Pakistan. Congratulations, and God speed both of you.

``I know that Pakistan exists within a reality and is perfectly alright as a country within that reality. I earn, work and live in this country happily, but why I call to Jinnah`s Pakistan is because it is the source of our existence today, which we have not successfully been loyal to. If we are to make it a better country, we`ll have to return to the source.``
Ironically Pakistan is being kept afloat by the civilized world, including India, lest it fall into the hands of the very extremists it`s leaders bankrolled to destabilize India.

``retrogressive mullahs who could only turn the Muslims into sectarian fanatics. As they are doing now in both Pakistan and India, the legacy of Gandhi continues.``
you forgot to add Iraq to the list. That silly nanga-fakir Gandhi left his mark all over the (Islamic) world.

Jinnah brought the gennie out of the bottle and now it has turned into a monster. You reap what you sow.
Thats not new has being happening in the Mualim world. Just look at Bangladesh, 400 blasts in a saingle day. just want to make the country more ``islamic``. Another 10-15 years and it will be another Pakistan. Hopefully they wont blame Gandhi then.

Gandhi is a racist and everyone defending him is a racist.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Including Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Albert Einstein, Lech Walesa...
Who would be the Gandhi Muslim equivalent? ... Would such a leader be acceptable to Tunku, Shridevi or Anil? Especially if Muslims were the majority?
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Why not? Many Muslim saints have been revered by Hindus over ages (Kabir, Sai Baba). Not to mention Maulana Azad (interestingly, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad shares two of his names with our current President). Some info on Maulana Azad:
http://www.nationmaster.com/encyclopedia/Maulana-Abul-Kalam-Azad
``He was born in Mecca. His forefathers came from Herat, Afghanistan in Babar`s days. Azad was a descendant of a lineage of learned Muslim scholars, or maulanas. His father was Maulana Khairuddin and his mother was the daughter of Sheikh Mohammad Zaher Watri. ... Educated according to the traditional curriculum, Azad learned Arabic and Persian first and then philosophy, geometry, mathematics and algebra. ... Seeing that English was fast becoming the international language, Azad taught himself to read, write and speak the language. He is a Ahle-Hadees and follow the way of Salafi Manhaj.``
http://www.salaam.co.uk/knowledge/biography/viewentry.php?id=1106
``In his teens Azad wrote poetry and articles and brought out periodicals. He was a prodigy who was contributing articles to Makhzan at the age of 14. His works include Tazkira, Tarjumanul Qur’an, and Ghubare-Khatir. ... Khutbaat-e-Azad is handy tool to assess the oratory which Azad was able to convert into an art form, grabbing the attention of his audience despite the fact his Urdu was laced with Arabic concoctions. ``
http://www.congresssandesh.com/nov_2k/tribute2.html
``He became the President of the Congress three times. Besides becoming the youngest President in 1923, he led the Congress for more than six years in his last term from 1940 to 1946. This was not only the longest period of Presidentship in the pre-Independence days...``
http://www.makaias.org/html/books/8179750663.asp
``Like Bal Gangadhar Tilak earlier and Mahatma Gandhi who was his contemporary, Azad was a firm believer in the inseparability of politics from religion. All these three leaders used religion to galvanize the socially and economically backward Indian masses for struggle against foreign colonial rule.``
http://www.congresssandesh.com/nov_2k/tribute2.html
``In his first presidential address to the Indian National Congress (1923), he declared ... : “Today, if an angel descends from the sky and declared from the heights of Delhi’s Qutub Minar that India can get Swaraj in twenty-four hours provided she gives up the idea of Hindu-Muslim unity, I will forego the Swaraj rather than the Hindu-Muslim unity, because if Swaraj is delayed it will be a loss of India alone but if this unity is lost it will be a loss of the entire humanity of the world.”``
http://www.salaam.co.uk/knowledge/biography/viewentry.php?id=1106
``He was against the partition of India and as a Muslim he thought, as he said in April 1946, that millions of Muslims remaining in the Hindu-majority provinces “will awaken overnight and discover that they have become aliens and foreigners…left to the mercies of what then would become an unadulterated Hindu Raj.” ``
...
``Furthermore, in his book India Wins Freedom, a point he made posthumously: “It is one of the greatest frauds on the people to suggest that religious affinity can unite areas which are geographically, linguistically and culturally different….History has proved that after the first few decades Islam was not able to unite all the Muslim countries into one state on the basis of Islam alone.” ``

Re: # 471
Gandhi`s equivalents existed during the freedom movement itself. They were people like Ghaffar Khan and Maulana Azad and countless other Muslims who didn`t play the Muslim card for their personal benefit. One of the reasons why Muslims in general and Pakistanis in particular are seen as medieval nuts is because of their rejection of the inclusive intellect of the sort that they represented.
Some of us still feel that not one single life be it Hindu, Muslim or Sikh should have been wasted on that useless endeavor called Partition. There was enough space in the Indian political spectrum for every idea, religion, belief or creed. The success of Jinnah`s very own progeny who are flourishing in India is testament to that.
