Dr Abdus Salam - The ’Mystic’ scientist Without any regard to his religious persuasion, I admire Professor Salam. I know how difficult it is to make even a minor original scientific contribution. Unless you have experience of that, it is hard to appreciate Salam`s contributions. Criticism is easy, a real creative contribution is hard.

Hello??..Who is this guy and who gives him the right to shoot his mouth off about kashmiris in India?.Let him spout about the kashmiris in his country.Jammu and kashmir state is an integral part of India that includes various ethnicities a la sikhs, hindus, ladhakis et alia.The people of kashmir voted in free and fair elections under the Vajpayee govt. which was acknowledged by the various countries of the world.It is those that are fundamantally opposed to India and who reside in kashmir that are the problem.I have a simple solution for that, which includes the hurriyat goons.Ship their unwashed asses over the LoC to pak-kashmir and they can live happily everafter in their unwashed splendor, along with the idiots and disgruntled elements that form the terrorist crowd.An Israeli friend of mine just returned after a two month long stay in J and K and said he was amazed at how welcome he was made to feel by the locals.And, J and K is definitely more advanced than Azad kashmir.Also, even as far as Chennai you can see kashmiris relocating in search of jobs and trade.This article is another waste of time.Instead , why don`t all pakistanis start practicing the right way to bend over when the Rice woman commands, as we all know women are more exating than men when they fork out money for services requested.From Mush , Aziz and every sorry man and woman born in your cursed country.

The fact that just yesterday India and China signed free trade protocols with the ASEAN nations and last month India was signed as one of the five partners of the EU and is to be inducted as a permanent member of the UN security council is indicative that the indians are doin` something right.Something the miserable paks will never get used to.

.............Yeah.I agree with you.I`m no fan but you gotta give the devil its` due.This woman has done a tremendous amount of good for TN.Everytime i go down there, i see an improvement , and i`ll go so far as to say Chennai is the best kept secret among the 4 major metros of India.Reasonable cost of living combined with one of the best transport network , facilities and job opportunities.Thank the dravidian parties for concentrating on local concerns rather than kissing up to some national leadership to stay in power.Anyways, I gotta go eat.There`s far more important things than this sh*t....

Fake Degrees for the Big Boys in Pakistan No wonder!!.I was always nonplussed by the accent of the few paks that i run into who are doctors et al and i`ve wondered why their english was sub-standard considering that paks claim they speak better `english` than indians.True , there is a miniscule minority of paks from the uppermost echelons of that country who speak english better than the english themselves, most definitely.So, this is how a large number of pak-punjabis must have gotten themselves into the US in the 80`s and 90`s , till `01 when they were thrown out in huge numbers.Fake degrees, is how.O`kaneda is another matter altogether.That will begin to unravel in a few years and that will only give us more to kvetch.Happy kvetching.

........I am indeed bothered matey......day in and day out my knees go a knockin` in the slithery subway of newyork city accosted by the square, the not so square, the fruffi , the female and the bum.After a dark ride on the ny subway i would settle for something as sickeningly fluffy as you say, even a lata ballad or a shahrukh/preiti zinta co*k-teaser.Life is in itself a journey through the dark side.Why read about it?I wanna escape from it a bit.Don`t begrudge the average man his fantasies.Pervert!!...........

Machiavelli’s Amma This writer is a perfect example/female version of what the local tamils call a ``karuppu dorai``......tamils who think they are intellectually superior just `cause they went to school and obtained a degree.AND, i am always wary of women who want to write poems or books.There`s another word for them in the english dictionary that begins with a ``B``.Tamilnadu today is one of the most progressive states in the indian union, the 3rd in economic indicators, among the top 5 in education and attracts more foreign investment than Karnataka and the Punjab.When i was driving there during my last visit i was pulled over a couple of times and ticketed for speeding and i couldn`t talk my way out of it.The cops had my speed recorded through a speed gun.I coudn`t bribe my way out of it either.Overall, jaya has done a good job of projecting the state to investors and corporates and maintains a smooth functioning of bureaucracy and law and order.A few high jinks aside, she is a literate(college grad), intranet savvy and a keen politician and i say this grudgingly , despite the fact that she`s a woman.Tamilnadu is the pioneer state in implementng the free-meal scheme for poor children to go to school and the rest of india is still trying to follow.And, that is MGR`s legacy.

I think this woman should just pretend she`s a writer and marry an american so she can continue to stay in the US and ``write`, or if she is American, just be grateful and continue pretending to ``write``.

Thanksgiving III I don`t understand poetry, more so, the strange language of `urdu` and by chance i click on this board and i see foul language, uttered by the usual suspects, ofcourse.Isn`t poetry supposed to calm our senses and elevate our thoughts to the ethereal, NO??.Given the gutter culture of the North/Paki i ain`t surprised at all.A few high falutin phrases of verse followed by verbal buggery and bilge.I guess O`Kaneda has not had any effect on these galoots.The Canucks are gonna rue the day they decided to show mercy to these fleeing pak crap who didn`t have the b++ls to go back to pakistan when they were thrown out of the US.And, boy, do they have guts!!!.Some things just never change.Sigh!

Indian Troop Reduction in Kashmir: Merely Symbolic? Yeah, why are these `hurriyat` buffoons driving around in armored TATA Safari`s if they can`t stand the rest of India.Why are they flying around at GOI expense to meet the PM of an enemy state, the only reason for him being in India , the SAARC protocol that requiered him to be iin New Delhi.The very fact that he was nor accorded a state welcome should have sent a clear message to the `hurriyat` buffoons to get thr f++k outta India and go live in Muzaffarpur.These `hurriyat` guys should have been arrested a long time ago.

I have been wringing my hands with glee as i observe recent political developments in pak-land.My thanksgiving holiday is looking pretty good , i must say.Deja Vu-me all over.Again the nefarious purpose people will come back to power and bungle up that country enabling India to forge ahead economically without wasting time and energy on futile cbm`s with pak-land and other worthless countries like bangladesh et al.Thank god powell is gone so mush will now have to bend over to the Rice woman, and i bet Mush is not looking forward to that!!!.....No man will.So, we indians have reason to rejoice and clap our hands with glee as we see the signs of our annoying neighbor to the west once again descend into the familial corrupt, chaotic and economically deficit scenario we are familiar with.Praise the Lord!!
