The Tsunami Disaster

I lived thru and survived Hurricane Andrew in 1992.All the high-tech equipment available in the US at that time neither prevented disaster or even predicted where the eye of the storm will actually hit land. And, the `eye` of Andrew didn`t hit where the mets. said it would.Nature is cruel and brutal.More brutal than the most venal politician or `goonda` around.Stuff happens. The tsunami happened and then people rebound and go on.I wish S.O.B`s like Udayakumar would be obliterated by nature`s cruelty.Alas!!!.It is always the very young and the innocents who suffer the most. This ar**h*le writes deprecatingly about India`s politicians without spending a day in one of their shoes.Another NGO parasite, is what this guy is.

Indians go naked blah blah......I think tarqaat-e-parvez should stop having sexual fantasies about naked indians and get a life.......islam is so stale as a topic of discussion, i`d rather try discussin` cross-stitching` instead........when will the pea-sized state of pakistan give up its` obsession with India??.....

I like Mallika Sherawat`s mammaries. They look good and i`m sure they must feel good to the lucky man/woman/men who have had the opportunity.Nothing wrong with admiring one`s natural assets. And like, Mae West said...``In our days we had `em, and we used them!``.All power to Mallika Sherawat. She has `em and she has certainly put them to good use.Did any other `chowkie` see her in Playboy?.She did a nude centerfold last summer.Indian wimin are certainly using their assets wisely.Anyone seen Aishwarya Rai`s CBS 60 minutes/Sunday interview on JAN 02?.The age of the indian woman has certainly dawned on this wobbly globe of ours.

When ``God`` himself favors the `white` and the `rich`, why berate the so called `elites` of India?.Who`s the most disposessed of them all from this tsunami disaster?.The children, ofcourse. The poor, colored children of Asia.Like ``God`` cares?.F**k off Udayakumar.

Why this all pervasive and morbid fascination with the baser things of life from the people of pak-land?.Dreary and morbid, its` citizens have made of it.So, people get raped, killed, run over, maimed by forces both natural and supernatural.C`est la vie.We should offer support and solace if something unfortunate happens to those near and dear, nay to our fellow humans.Other than that, get a life, and leave the dead past buried, i say.

Happy New year!!...from 2 to 4% ain`t all that.Won`t even pay for the cost of the so-called infrastructure expense, you say was expended. Also, you`re missing the main point. Why a western consumer would prefer to talk to an indian over a pak is `cause of the knowledge of that country`s complicitness with the terror elements.Everyone knows pakistan didn`t some to the terror fighting table on its` own.It had no alternative.Governments can whitewash a lot but the average public ain`t fooled anywhere. In NYC, i know that buyers are gravitating towards India and China in droves, leaving pak suppliers to approach indian buyers in newyork and attempting to route material through them!!.I know that the pak textile industry is not a happy camper right now, based on info obtained from friends and people i know in the textile market in newyork.A friend of mine who has a textile plant in India has already been to China and signed two agreements to supply the Chinese with cloth from there.Even the Chinese, supposedly pakland`s friends are now approaching the indians to source their excess demand. My friend had never dealt with the chinese , prior to the advent of2005.I always suspect your loyalties.Maybe you are one of those who were taken pity on by indians in 1947. Sadly the indians have to endure being bitten by the ungrateful dog.Surprise me.

A new year dawns, but the same demons from the last one still remain with us.And that includes virulent , leftist, shrill and small breasted wimin who make up more than three-fourths of the educated upwardly mobile among the south asian disapora.Fortunately, there is a large population of real women with large breasts ,in, atleast , speaking of my own native country, India, who study hard, work hard, provide for themselves and their families, enjoy life to the fullest and contribute to the economic growth of that nation.Same in the US too.I sure hope it is so in pakistan, but my impression is that there a few *itches and the rest just bovine and ready to be fed and maintained by a man.The easy way out.

Thou doth masturbate a tad too much, my friend.Only those who have never been in a relationship, idolize the situation, beyond the normal stretch of the imagination.Don`t dream so much that reality knocks you off your pedestal , that you can`t get back up again.Nothing wrong with masturbation. And, dreaming.Within reason, ofcourse!!.

..........What do you drink late evening, my friend?.The pakistan economy ain`t booming by any yardstick and as far as its` textile industry, the removal of quotas actually professes doom!!!.No modern machinery(if any) can force John Q Public to buy from pakistan , whom everyone knows is as complicit in creating the terrorism problem as combating it, unless it is unavoidable. The average man is never fooled, is he?.That`s why , even though, the pak`s have been going from capital to capital, tom-tomming to all that they ``speak` english better than indians, they offer better tax breaks, they are better qualified , their efforts have got them nowhere.I saw a Time magazine article that specifically mentioned China and India as the two major beneficiaries of the new textile regime.India`s gain was mentioned specifically at the cost of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Now with the tsunami damage, even SriLanka`s business will come by way of India for a while, atleast. Is Time magazine wrong?.
India is one of the EU`s five major partners whoch gives it easy access and reduced tariffs for it`s products. The pak`s have , as usual, gone to the EU using their terrorism `figthing` ruse to get some reduced tariff benefits and the EU has merely told them that they will consider it.I have friends from pakistan who tell me that behind the attempted whitewash is an ugly truth. For eg., automobiles,a subject dear to me.Right now , a few private auto cos., assemble CKD kits from major auto manufacturers and sell it at exorbitant prices to consumers. No auto manufacturer has directly set up shop there which will enable the ancillary industry to be established, providing employment to the public. What we have is the excessive profit flowing to the elite few, who either have resources to set up these CKD units , and the like in various industries, or are a front for the Saudi financed, US routed money that is being pushed in to set up these and other kind of industries, window washing the real ugly truth about the pak army`s control over that nation. As far as cable, what does one need but a satellite dish to get more channels?.They can be shut off as fast as they are allowed to air.The mullahs know all this. That`s why they are , acc. to me, just taking their cut of the booty and clutching their hands with glee. They know their time is coming.Very soon.

Tsunami
In ancient tamil lore, the sea has always been both provider and destroyer. The sea has been encroaching on the land for millenia. In the ancient rock hewn town of Mamallapuram, six of the seven stone temples are submerged in the sea.The sixth can be clearly seen on the floor of the ocean , near the coast.C`est la vie.All nations with a coast line will eventually face this probem, namely, sea encroachment. The striking factor here is that something catastrophic has been happening on or after Christmas day lately!!!.Last year it was Bam, this year south-east Asia, next year??.None of us can sit smug and talk desparingly of anyone or any nation`s calamity. The next turn could be ours, wherever we may be.
The news media has been reporting the Indian Navy`s efforts in providing relief efforts to Sri lanka, Maldives and Indonesia has officially asked for indian navy cartographic ships and relief personnel to assist in Banda Aceh.It is heartening for anyone of indian origin to see the Indian Navy performing their duties with professionalism and caring.Emails from family and friend in Madras convey things have returned to normal in that area, including the city , with curfew being lifted and crews have been cleaning the city`s Marina beach with sand cleaning machines!!!.Indians from all over that country have opened their pocketbooks and efforts to the affected regions.People in Madras have spoken highly of the government`s relief efforts in cooperation with local NGO`s and private medical agencies.I saw on CNN, people of all religions coming together to provide relief to one another.Maybe something good will come out of this!!.Like i said, the next time the earth releases it`s fury , could be in our neck of the woods.Wherever we may be.

Srilanka took the brunt of the tsunami`s fury and saved Tamil Nadu from catastophic destruction. Most of the damage is rectricted to coastal fishing communities except in the districts opposite SriLanka.Unfortunately, it is the poor that suffer the most from an act of God.India is right in not accepting foreign aid.The impact has been minimal on it`s coastline and the monies needed to get the fisherman rehabilitated is not going to be that high. These people have been plying the seas for generations and they will go back to doing just that once the trauma is gone. The government has promised to facilitate that. The real impact has been on the Andaman islands. The natural habitat was one of its` assets.I guess in time the earth there will make peace with the ocean.

What kind of kook are you?.You like the money , don`t you??.Just shut up and write and consider yourself lucky if you still got your job.The news is business just like any other.Caveat Emptor.Let the reading public decide what they want or don`t want to buy.if you make your living as a journalist just shut up and write, and be grateful if someone reads it.

Musharaf will be removed, one day too soon or in the near future and he can go gently into that good night or forcefully like his predecessors.Your nation does not exist in itself. It is but an estate of a foreign power.Events and the actions of your own leaders , since independance have brought about this situation. All you see are attempts at hogwash. The `token` media expansion is a glaring example of this. All you see are more cable channels proliferating. All these channels can be beamed outta one room , either with a few dvd players or satellite feeds. What`s the big deal?.Infrastruture?.What`s the point of infrastructure, when you don`t have support systems in place(industry, automobile industry, tourism) to keep it operational in the long run.Bush can meet Musharaf as often as he wants and it all may look impressive on tv, but mr/mrs america are dealin` with China, India and south-east Asia and not with pakistan. And, Bush can`t force them to do so.That`s why pakistan is inevitably heading towards the abyss. That`s when the fundamentalists will really take over. And, that`s why they`re just biding their time and clutching their hands with glee.

What `bazee` did was wrong, illegal and downright stupid by any country`s standards, given that the main actors in this drama are two minors. The indian legal system took the right step and acted in accordance with accepted legal precepts.I was in India earlier this year and was blown away by the social and sexual revolution especially among the middle classes and thouroughly enjoyed myself there, but in no way do i condone the irresponsible bahaviour of those school students, the IIT guy and the ebay subsidiary. They all deserve what`s coming to them.
