Looks like you are starting to write your autobiography.
A bit early, perhaps?!

A Nation without an Identity
Author, the facts are simple. Without religious polarization, there would be NO Kashmir ``struggle`` - and the whole region would have lived on in peace and harmony!
Come to think of it, without religious polarization, there would have been no Pakistan. And the whole region would....
You got it!
#16 Manto
Good Lord, you are still around?!! I thought you would be busy minting money. If not, please go do it.
I kind of like the idea of calling you - ``the minting Manto!`` Cute, ain`t it?!!

India, Pakistan and the Kashmir dispute
Author,
[What was ignored was the later statement by the Pakistani Foreign office that there “is no change in Pakistan’s policy on Kashmir” and that the “headlines in the media were misleading.” ]
Since there was NO CHANGE, what was there to ignore?

Get over the Victim Syndrome
[Get over the Victim Syndrome]
...and miss out on all the fun?!!
The firebrand mullahs?
The foaming-at-the-mouth politico?
The killer jihadis?
And last but not the least...
The crushing-with-the-boot Khaki?!!
Get over the victim syndrome - why? It is a LOT more fun the way things are!

Know Pakistan
[Know Pakistan]
Perhaps not such a good idea, at least as far as I can tell - based on my experience of the past two years.
Perhaps the correct way to phrase it should be:
``Know Pakistan - but not through the Pakistanis on THIS web site!``

My People!
[I am outraged because I care and I care because it’s my country and I care because it’s my people.]
Ask not whether you care about your country but ask if your country cares for you!

J&K: The Hopes and Despairs of the Peace Process
In a democracy, every unit rules itself. Kashmir already has democracy - more self-rule ability than perhaps most other Indian states. Certainly more ability to self-rule than its Pakistani counterpart.
What the Kashmiris need to come to terms are terms such as democracy and secularism.

1857 and the Lessons of 150 Years
In times like 1857, the concept of India was indivisible. People used to mingle at the most basic level of society. They did not live segregated lifestyles. The concept of partition had not come about, in spite of religious identities being different. Once politicized, the genie of religion can not be placed back into the bottle.
Sorry.
