In your case, elephant power always exceeds horse power....btw, parents in the so-called modern societies make babies for the corporations not themselves, wealth and investment in such societies flows from parent to child and fetches zero returns, when these "children" then become parents their own life experience teaches them that investment in children is not worthwhile, so you see a falling fertility rate, neglect and so on....whereas the lack of parenting skills in developing nations is more a factor of lack of resources, and wealth flowing more from children to parents than the other way around, the lack of parenting skills and neglect in the so-called developed nations has more to do with a weakning family unit held subordinate to the corporation for whom child production takes place and whose culture devalues the family for the individualism for the sake of the market....When I tell you to shut up it is because when you babble you rarely address the points raised and come up with moral/value judgements based on the standards of your own perverted morality....Mark the key words locomotive man......

Families are a product of the social environment and where the corporation wants to free female labor to create a surplus working at paltry wages and segmented to do menial work, they will promote a culture that discredits motherhood and so they have- in the process they create a private mothering network of day care centers- which apart from being profitable relegate parenthood to the market where your pocket determines the kind of care you can buy- the family stripped of its functions becomes a fluid institution and changes. Now shrinks wouldn't know all this, neither would they know that motherhood by biological precident involves the necessity of female and not male involvement- a male cannot carry the fetus to term neither can they nourish the baby or substitute the mother/child bond that develops even before birth in the womb- neither do shrinks know about this nor does the corporation which does not care that their ways of education and nurturing are producing a bunch of standardized morons unfit to play human roles involving reflection. So spare us the BS of the West is Best....the West is going fast into the gutters and you as their chaprasee will be always be trying to clean up their mess.
