Well written article with an interesting perspective. What beats me though is that you apparently have a pretty decent vocabulary, but somehow use "than" and "then" incorrectly. Excuse me for pulling your leg :) but consider this as "constructive feedback".

Fighting words indeed. The fact that they are burning petty criminals but are cowed by the political Mafia , shows how in effective the Pakistani intelligentsia and General Public is. In most of the backward countries even, the public has come out on streets and turned the tables on the powerful potentates on small issues. Why are the people not coming out on the streets and show their anger on “significant� problems in Pakistan, taking a cue from the ‘one issue’ protests that the Lawyers have demonstrated?
It is incomprehensible allegation that unelected demigods of a third world country would herd the whole Cabinet to Dubai at public expense for a meeting—if true, that in itself is treason not to be tolerated at any cost.
The Quran talks about “THE PEOPLE� changing their condition! Where are the people in Pakistan on its sixty first anniversary?
