Dear Ras Siddiqui...Thank you for keeping the memories of Faraz alive. I met him many times in Peshawar as well as in Toronto. He was always affectionate and witty. I loved his sense of humour alongside his poetry. Your article is inspiring me to write some of my fond memories of my meetings with him. He was like Manto and Oscar Wilde, who could say...the king is naked...
Once when i asked him why he did not write his autobiography, he replied, "i cannot write half truth and my nation is not ready to hear the whole truth...all the best..khalid sohail
