The "Indian" I referred to was the 'post modern' Indian of the current day which refers to peons of the West. Indian has nothing to do with India btw just as much as the hindus of old have nothing to do with hindus of the present, the thing is Jinnah according to that defintion would be more Indian than the Indians and your worship offer wouldn't work. Finally I do not worship people regardless of their views, brilliance or upright rebelliousness (none of these qualities were found in Jinnah)

Your logic is convoluted. In other words it depicts your peonship of the West, the "indianness" that I want taken out of Pakistan when you only see "facilities" being offered by the US and not exploitation and surplus being extracted from people. Boldness is when you can stand up and proclaim at the height of paranoia post 9/11 in the US, that this GWOT is a farce and extra boldness implies that you do that even though your name is "Muhammed".

I do, Majumdar ji. If one has stayed in a country for a decade and taken advantage of all the facilities that country offers then one is part of the same crowd. Just because one is frustrated and becomes a great critic that does not mean one has become bold.

(IMO, these Americans have not the least clue that they are being taken for a royal ride once again. But they also have no incentive to worry since they are not sacrificing anything.)

The US must hold Pakistan in very high esteem if it "expects" that country to do certain things! At least the Pakistanis can admire their nuke arsenal and enjoy its beauty!!

Jamaat-ud-Dawa not charity, is linked to terror: Rice

UNITED NATIONS: Rejecting Pakistan's claim that Jamaat-ud-Dawa, designated as a front for the Lashker-e- Taiba by the UN, is a charity, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has said that Washington has learnt the hard way that sometimes these groups are too intertwined with the bodies that have terrorist ties.

Talking to reporters, Rice said the US would press Pakistan as also other member States to adhere completely to the United Nations decision to ban the Jamaat, freeze its assets and deny travel visas to its leaders.

The US expects that Pakistan would cooperate as it itself faces the problem of terrorism and its dire consequences, she said.

Pakistan, Rice said, now has a new civilian government that is legitimate, wants to deal with the world in good faith and wants to be respected in the international politics. It also wants to deal with terrorism problem.

Rice comment's come in the wake of Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi reportedly saying that charitable arms of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa will not be closed down.

The reports from Pakistan suggest that it might easing restrictions on the organisation which is parent body of Laskhar-e-Taiba (LeT) said to be involved in the Mumbai terror attacks.

Media reports had also said that the Jamaat had transferred millions of dollars of funds into accounts which would be difficult to locate and analysts have expressed the fear that it might start operating under a different name.

US mull putting more Pakistanis on terror list

NEW YORK: The Taliban and Alqaeda committee of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is mulling to put more Pakistanis on terror list.

According to senior diplomatic sources, a time-tested friend country is helping Pakistan in this connection.

Senior diplomats are also trying to stop inclusion of names of more Pakistanis into terror list.

The Taliban and Alqaeda Committee of UNSC is a private body which could not take into confidence any country or person regarding its meeting.

A diplomat on condition of anonymity told that Pakistani mission is carried out hectic efforts to prevent inclusion of more Pakistanis into terror list. A close friend country of Pakistan is helping in these efforts.
