aicha,
Don`t worry too much about the uncouth pest. He is unlikely to go away in a hurry. In fact he is already pestering you under a different name on Ayesha Ikram`s board.

AAmir -
This has been nagging me till now and in keeping with one of my beliefs - taht it takes all kinds to make this world - i feel everyone here at chowk has a unique presence and a void is left whenever someone walks away, which cannot be filled. I would not like it at all if any antagonism (i dont like being cornered) on my part was the cause in any way. So come back - who is going to do cut&paste jobs - a bit irrelevant if you ask me (pardon the weak humour) - in your absence!

AAmir aka Capt Hastings - yes I had waylaid my english skills along with my funnybone. Doesnt happen often. Well I cant stay mad for too long nor stay away from this site for too long - so I say - for us to interact in a healthy way I would appreciate if we could leave personal details out. I hope we can respect each others privacy and just have some fun.

Aamir - WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?????
There you have me exasperated now. I can never fully understand what you are talking about. The few pieces taht do make sense is what I base my replies on. All I can say is this is weird & twisted behaviour which needs a few hrs in a straigthjacket. However I will also try to find my funnybone which I always loose after a few interafts with you.

Aamir,
Here`s one you will like:
I opened a bank account and put in 50 rupees.
First day, I withdrew Rs 20, so I had Rs 30 left.
Second day, I withdrew Rs 15, so I had Rs 15 left.
Third day, I withdrew Rs 9, so I had Rs 6 left.
Fourth day, I withdrew Rs 6, so I had Rs 0 left.
Simple accounting - I added up the debits and credits to see if they match:
20+15+9+6 = 50.
30+15+6+0 = 51.
Where did the extra rupee come from?
Hint: It is not interest!

Aamir #79 This did force the brain to overheat with exertion, but I have it: They spent $27 and I received $27. I put $25 in the cash register and $2 in my pocket. Math is fine.
So why is this so hard to figure: I shall wait for for smarter people than me to explain.

Aamir - cant anyone interact in peace here? I have no clue what you mean by profile and neither do I want to know. I come here because I love the anonymity that allows me to speak my mind freely w/o minding the p`s&q`s. The last thing I am is impertinent&inquisitive and I dont like such people. I hope taht suffices.
Goodbye !!

aicha: To really enjoy Chicken Run, you need to see The Great Escape first. The latter is based on a true story of a POW breakout in WWII. Chicken Run then replaces each of the fine characters (like Steve McQueen) in The Great Escape with a chicken and is really funny.

Tahmed - Thankyou for your kind comments. All this talk of chicken - has me wanting to watch Chicken Run.

aicha: Thanks for your admirable contributions to What the Chicken Wrote on Chowk. Yes, I did make it back from the road today myself. I was a bit concerned about becoming a Kentucky Fried Chicken though, given the amount of lightning and thunder all the way home, or a Chicken Patty, given the way some truckers drive those monsters (I even thought of the Dive-Bombing Chicken of PAF as I passed by Exit 9 of NJT which says it leads to Rutgers). But here I am, back on duty on chowk.
