RE: Scout #3

People do write about the Pakistani actresses but not here on CHOWK.

Please check out The Weekly Independent from Lahore at:

Rekha is one of the great actresses in Bollywood who has interwoven art and market in her personality like a delicate mosaic while Shabana Azmi is the living legend not only in the world of sowbiz but also in the world of philonthropy and social revolution following the foot-steps of her great father.

Arora sahab; I believe it was Mohra and not Tridev that was responsible for Raveena Tandon`s popularity.

[... Reema...Meera....Resham....etc etc....i think some of them even know how to dance now instead of thrusting their hips and boobs everywhere like before.]

What! Not using their God-given talents anymore? (Tongue firmly in cheek.)

You forgot to mention equally stellar Shabana Azmi. And what is the difference between Hema, Rekha or Shabana since ancestors of all three came out of Africa. The important thing is, if they are good human beings first - pehle insaan phir acting. Forget about their acting, stellar performance, Hindu or Muslim. It does not matter if there is little bit of Islam or Hindu in them, add Sikhism too because of Hema. Are they good human beings?
scout: In Pakistan, nobody deserves more than Shabnam, a Bengali Hindu.....oops, her ancestor too came out of Africa and I think she was a good human being first.

now how come no one writes about Pakistani heroines, like Reema...Meera....Resham....etc etc....they`ve come a long way too....i think some of them even know how to dance now instead of thrusting their hips and boobs everywhere like before.
