#12, AsadJK:
I am disappointed that you could not derive the needed understanding from the views of Asadullah Khan Ghalib!
Temporal as a poet has that instinctively!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice one... but one thing which is more panic is,,, why we are more interested across the border as we know that all the things which are happening on the border are only because of mutual understanding.... We should write, think and do only for Pakistan right now. Because when our home will become establish and more stable then we will become stronger and prosperous... After having all the stuff we can have sometime to think about others...
Haan!!!!!!!!! humain Chiraagh jalaany kee zaroorat hai Laikin pahlay apnay ghar ko daikhna hai,, humaray ghar mai chiragh hai toa humaray gird o niwaa mai roshni hee roshni phailay gee..... Inshallah
Then we will have better oppurtunities to resolve all the problems inside or outside of the country.....

t,

my diwalee will have have far more lights.....

If you or anyone tells me how do I get

Few from Salamat Ali Khan and Najakat Ali Khan. Jugalbandi. How and where I get it.

I am in Mumbai. India.

Also. Could I get hold of some music with some one called Reshma. A nomad, she originated ``Yaad meri rakhiyooN`` as I learned. From my dad.

I am too young to even know. My father used to tell us these stories. I have only heard ``More Naina`` from the Ustads.

Thanks in advance

Yogiraj Patil

t.
there must have been a glitch in the system `cause my post from this morning never made it here. khair, diwali aur ram`zaan mubarak!
this poem carries a lovely sentiment, and let`s hope that the diya that`s dim in hearts of cynics like me grows brighter.
pyar and rahs. .ana

T, it was nice poem and I have promised myself to believe in the cause you espouse, but the old cynic in me says that this is all non-sense. Maybe, yaar, you were right and I have not changed, but there is a definate change in the seasons and the ill wind is all of a sudden more gentle and more warmer.

Ciao

Sufi T,

A couple of years ago, there were similar hopes for peace. Perhaps this time it`ll be different.

Lives are lived burdened with suspicions,
Hopes for love rest on endless conditions,

You question my sincerity saying you need more evidence,
I give up all I have but does that make any difference?

These suspicions, these conditions, they outlive,
All the precious gifts that existence could give,

Is this pre-destined, or part of grand designs,
Innocence is made to, live in interesting times,

Chants and slogans are at pains to shout the divide,
Yet, death will end even our gasps, no one can hide,

A wish, a whisper, a waltz of suppressed desire,
Breathlessly feels for ways out of this mire,

Yet, a glance, a touch of hand, a surprised kiss,
Left to wonder on endless new beginnings of bliss.

keep the lantern of hope lit!
yet, it may not be the time to
indulge in despair and sorrow

Yet, it may take you out from
the darkness of despair and grief
Keep the lantern of hope lit

Yet it may brighten up your
future like a star
keep the lantern of hope lit
Yet, it may become a
shining armour for your life
Keep the lantern of hope lit
