Traffic is as good or bad as the enforcement of traffic laws. In the US you get into the habit of
stopping at crossroads because of the fear of getting a hefty ticket. The meekest drivers on the
I-95 up here are the same daredevils that drive like schumacher at home.
Why ?, because they KNOW there is accountability up here. There is a great probability that
they`ll be caught and sanctioned. Their higher-up chacha mama is not here to save their bacon.
Tulley kou na Tou TaRi, na Parchi dikha sakTey haiN. So they become insaan key bachey up
here.
At home, they (meaning y`all) give up control to their `id`s. If they do get stopped by a cop,
Tou pehlay they will refuse to accept blame ( baTTi laal nahi peeli Thee...blah, blah ) phir ussey
TaRi lagaieN gay (do you know who I am ?, meray Taya flaney haiN) then try to bribe him
(Yar pajah sou vich gul mukao), before throwing themselves on his mercy. Pretty pathetic.
Pakistan is not filled up with aliens. Its made up of you and your relatives. If something is
wrong, its probably because of you and yours.
Apnay aap kou Theek karieN, Pakistan khuD ba khuD Theek ho jai ga.

Charlie:
You`re absolutely right... I also sometimes accidentaly mix up my browser windows between ``Association of Philosophy Teachers Newsletter `` and ``ChaatHouse``.
Mistake is deeply regretted.

...(talking to myself)
...let us forget all that bull about ittehad, tanzim, yaqeen-e-muh`km...first for pete`s sake that guy could not even speak that smooth lingo!...
...first of all let`s start digging...not for oil...not in the past ..argghhhh!...let us recycle the waste...recover, scrounge around...find first the fast disappearing sense of humour...that is what ails the nations...not yusufi`s qehat-ur-rejal...national reclamation...nishaat-e-sania...whatever...law and (b)order and all that utopian crap can follow later
...also wonder if the sense of humour is tied to income levels or income parity
...(the end...for now)

This article has destroyed my definition of Discipline. Is following the constitution known as discipline or parading in beautiful formations is called discipline ? Painting the buses in same color is discipline or following the traffic rules is disciplne ? What does author exactly expects in the therms of discipline from our nation ? Author should try to educate my ignorant mind on this issue.

But seriously, look around you, dear reader. Does anything really appear to be in order other than the ridiculously timed traffic signals?
The ones in Karachi aren`t even timed properly. Just another ``fact`` .

Thanks for an interesting B.A.K.W.A.S. finding, temp. Some say waning moon actually symbolizes our lunatic obsession of getting Ruet-e-Hilal Committee`s studies recognized by NASA for future planetary missions. Just a rumour I guess?

Zulfiqar:
...welcome to chowk...
and here is another finding from m/s Bashir, Adnan, Kamran, Wazeefa And Samina...no it is not a legal firm...in fact it is another polling outfit...a subsidiary of an MNC conglomerate you may/not have heard of called Jasoos int`l rumored to have links with the company that owns Condoleeza Rice...(the oil tanker)...
...in this finding commissioned last year they pin pointed the steadily declining fortunes of Pakistan to the crescent in the flag...it is waning...fix it to the rising crescent and the fortune of the country would turn around...(they refused to speculate on the countrymen or women for that matter…leaving it for another study)
