Glad you liked the language - I guess the key to this story was that there wasn`t much time for thinking and analyzing and editing. That helped to keep it short and from the heart. Thanks again.

I m permanent visitor of chowk for the last 2 or 3 years but never tried to interact just bcoz I m fed up of this over communication age where you interact just to engulf others that leads you towards vanity. However, I feel to be honored to interact for ‘Monsoon arrives’.

Simple, just like pure human emotions, which we pollute for the sake of our own built walls of ego. You covered both and personify masterly. I believe it’s the simplicity that did all the magic. Although I believe in you but if u would create the riddles of treatment, hope it could damage all its sanctity.

Hats off for you Sucheta. Excellent work like all others of yours.

Liked the idea, adored the language. I do get mesmerized by this kind of usage - ``large old house snoozed uneasily in its dusty gardens``. Write this one sentence and leave everthing else to user`s imagination. How beautiful!!

I love reading your stories on chowk. Although the emotions and situations handled in your stories are universal, they do remind me of quintessential Marathi ethos. Your writing style is so simple, yet so evocative.. it reminds me of writings of great marathi writer Gangadhar Gadgil. I would love to know what influences shaped your literary thought process, especially in early years. Also, have you ever published any short stories / novels in Marathi?
