subhash

You will very much enhance the value of your articles by taking part in discussions here. Absent that, and given what you are able to publish, tongues will start wagging about the likely secret of your success.

Best wishes for 1996. Hoping to see you (or not see your articles) around during this year.

#26, Asadi Sahib {``Seychelles 1979-1981``}

Sir, I take issue with Seychelles 1979-1981. What proof do you have? How can you make such a statement? I have read that Seychelles became notorious as a copulation capital due to the high tax on marriage licenses. What does that have to do with Uppa US?

#36, please don`t call me ``Stalin loving`` because I am not. The US elite describe the world system much more than the elites of any other country, their decision or lack thereof and their direct interventions as well as proxy client relationship is a major cause of underdevelopment in the world today. They are perpetuating Neo-Colonialism thereby condemning millions to lives of poverty and unnecessary disease and death.

Biologist Gideon Poyla has compiled these figures:

The post-1950 avoidable mortality has totaled 1.3 billion for the world, 1.2 billion for the non-European world and 0.6 billion for the Muslim world – a Muslim Holocaust 100 times greater than the World War 2 Jewish Holocaust (6 million victims) or the contemporaneous (but “forgotten”) man-made Bengal Famine in British-ruled India (4 million victims) that has been substantially deleted from British history and from general public perception. These horrendous figures are consonant with independent estimates of the post-1950 under-5 infant mortality in the world (0.88 million), the non-European world (0.85 billion) and in the Muslim world (about 0.4 billion).

First World countries (mainly the US, the UK, France, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Russia) have had a major complicity in the post-1950 global avoidable mortality holocaust, variously through involvements such as explicit colonial occupation, neo-colonial control, malignant interference, corrupt client or successor regimes, militarization, debt, economic exclusion, economic constraint, war and civil war. The effects of occupation do not cease after the last foreign troops have left. Accordingly, one can estimate the relative mortality impacts of complicit First World colonial powers from the “total post-1950 avoidable mortality” in non-Axis countries militarily occupied for some period of the post-war era by these powers, namely by the UK (727 million), France (142 million), the US (82 million), the Netherlands (72 million), Russia (37 million), Belgium (36 million) and Portugal (23 million).

Of course, the above figures do not take into account US hegemony without actual physical occupation in a swathe of countries in Central and South America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. A more exacting measure of “direct responsibility” is seen from the “avoidable mortality” associated with periods of actual violent occupation e.g. the Russian war in Afghanistan (1979-1989, 2.6 million) and US wars in Korea (1950-1953, 0.8 million), Indo-China (1957-1975, 13.1 million), Iraq (1990-present, 2.3 million) and Afghanistan (2001-present, 1.6 million).

Wow ! This is a dream come true.

Stalin-loving Masadi is here lecturing us on human rights !!

What comes next - Hamid Gul lecturing us on hindu civilization? Adolf Eichman explaining intricacies of judaism!

Left-wing mass murderers are responsible for almost 100 million dead during the 20th century. During Iran-Iraq war more than a million were murdered; two million in bangladesh.

Islamo-fascist Saudi Arabia has invested $100 BILLION in propagating hate-filled teachings since 1974 around the world.

The root cause is always the same: israel and the US. Also, sometimes UK and India and any country that allows broad freedoms and internal criticism. Countries like China (arms for Myannmar and Sudan) are specially exempt from any blame.

Quote <<< The 2005 Nobel Prize for Literature was awarded to the great British playwright Harold Pinter (The Caretaker, The Homecoming, Old Times, No Man`s Land and Betrayal). In his video-taped Nobel Prize acceptance speech on 8 December 2005 (he did not attend in person due to poor health), Harold Pinter excoriated George Bush and Tony Blair, accusing them of war crimes in Iraq. After detailing the horrendous cost of violent US interventions in Central and South America, Harold Pinter described the invasion of Iraq as ``an act of blatant state terrorism`` and called for the arraignment of Bush and Blair before the International Criminal Court, declaring: ``How many people do you have to kill before you qualify as a mass murderer and a war criminal? One hundred thousand? More than enough, I would have thought`` >>>

#33 Kulharee, the ``higher terrorists`` are the American elite, they and their corporations kill millions every year, you are attributing cause to Islam, don`t be a total ignoramus. Women in the US are treated as a thing, a thing to be used and discarded, by your American elite generated corporate culture, most of the poor in this country are women bringing up children on thier own. The numbers by themselves disprove your assertions.

Further in America there is de-facto polygamy, not only with 4 but with many women, extra-marital affairs define a percentage greater in this country than any percentage of de-jure polygamy in Muslim lands.

Re: # 32

Asadi Sahib, only a sicko will bring up American Elite in a discussion on terrorism. Terrorism, sir, is a phenomenon indoctrinated in newborn Muslim babies in shape of uttering “Allah is Great” in their virgin ears. They are later taught to believe that Jews and Kafirs are evil and can’t be trusted (read Surah Mayeda in al-Kooran), and in some select cases these babies grow up to include American Elite in that list of those who can’t be trusted and are destined to hell. That brainwashing produces terrorists, and not the American Elite as you seem to be implying in every discussion. Do you have anything else to contribute other than your usual garbage? I think, and I wholeheartedly believe that it is the Islamic Elite (the keepers of Allah) that are the cause of all terrorism in the world, and you are their mouthpiece to deflect the attention. The way muslim women are treated in their lands is worse than a hooker gets treated in the civilized world. A man can legally have 4 wives and get away with it because it is a “Sunnah” in your part of the world. Get a life.

#32, all my doubts that you are a total idiot have been removed now, thank you for clarifying that- you mention Mukhtaran Mai, how about mentioning the over 5 million women that are battered, beaten blue and black in the US every year? How about mentioning the over 1 million that are raped in the US every year. Mention also the fully one third of American women that will be sexually abused at some point in thier lives and the millions who suffer from post traumatic stress disorder as a result? The American elite don`t care about women, hadly any exist in thier ranks, they merely talk the good talk when it is expedient.

Asadi Sahib, you forgot to mention MukhtaraN Mai 2004 in your list. You seriously need to get a life. Your brothers in Egypt issued a new Falafil today calling Holocaust a Myth following on the footsteps of Ahmadinejad.

HP sahib, what you may think is ‘objective account’ may only be objective to just you and those who think along your line of thought. The eavesdropping is no biggy and if someone is not having phone sex with his mother-in-law needs not worry about it. If that’s what it takes to ensure the safety of innocents, then so be it. I lost enough friends on 9/11, and monitoring of phone conversations is a very little price to pay. After all the dust is settled it will be a beautiful day. The Islamic butchers are beginning to fall, one by one, fathers and sons.

The American elite, given their social psychology shaped by institutions dominated by a permanent war economy can NEVER live in peace with the world. The are always in search of adversaries. The giant elephant, US, isolated from the rest of the world, the safest land mass on earth, is always threatened by some tiny mouse or the other- this is their concept of realism. Their concept of ``civilization`` is destroying the earth`s ecology and subsidizing their agricultural products so that the masses in the developing world, including India and Pakistan either die by the hundreds of thousands or live lives of extreme misery, all for short term gain within their tiny group, even as they condemn the masses to living hell on earth.

In fact, even though in totally different social context, this elite possesses a similar mentality as suicide bombers. Capitalism’s suicide bombers worship profits and are willing to kill and be killed for them; they are the “higher terrorists” that operate on much larger scales than the bogeymen, the petty-terrorists they claim to fight. In trying to kill the world for short-term profits, they eventually end up killing themselves and the earth. For the sake of humanity, they must be stopped and their policies challenged on every forum and upon every occasions.

Given all this, to behave like Kulharee and other apologists of the American elite on here, including the CHOWK editors that censor all my articles, is criminal. You all are supporting mass murderers who make Jack the Ripper look like a Sunday school kid.

The article is good but in the conclusion, it misses the point completely. George Bush knows what causes terrorism, he doesn`t want to fix it. You see this petty terrorism like 9/11 supplies the fuel that keeps the US permanent war economy booming. Since the end of World War 2 that has been the case in the US, before after the great depression, the Welfare State bailed out capitalism but in the process it cut into the profits of the captains of industry, now this permanent war economy business bails out capitalism AND results in huge profits for corporations as well. 9/11 was a boon to the American economy contrary to what is presented and why would George Bush want to kill the goose that lays the golden egg? He will never ever end the war on terrorism until he can find a new adversary that can be sold to the public~ China is rapidly emerging as one in their literature.

Mills stated much the same back in 1956,

``...In part at least this has resulted from one simple historical fact, pivotal for the years since 1939: the focus of elite attention has been shifted from domestic problems centered in the `thirties around slump, to international problems, centered in the `forties and `fifties around war (the permanent war economy and its link to resource theft and the defense industries)...” (The Power Elite, 1956)

Later confirmed by US president Eisenhower in his farewell speech, 1961 warning against unwarranted influence by the MIC- Military Industrial Complex

Also the State department person incharge of long range planning for the Cold War, George Kennan said back in 1987= “Were the Soviet Union to sink tomorrow under…the ocean, the American Military-Industrial Complex would have to go on, substantially unchanged, until some other adversary could be invented.”

I am on record opposing all kinds of terrorism on this forum and I have published articles (not on this site) that deal with terrorism objectively….But the US needs to win the first round first if it wants to continue with the war…They need to book OBL before they do any thing else.

If the US has to resort to unconstitutional spying on its own citizens before spying and arresting OBL then there is some thing terribly wrong with this war.
The most powerful man on earth needs to take decisions based on the values that this society has cherished and fought for centuries.
Pants are down when spying on US citizens takes precedence over arresting the person who is responsible for killing American citizens.

#24, you force me to end my self-imposed protest against CHOWK for censoring my articles. You talk about inventories, here is one for you it involves, US direct military intervention or CIA intervention, well documented, check the details in the book listed below.

China 1945-1960s, Italy 1947-1948, Greece 1947-1950s, The Philippines 1940s and 1950s, Korea 1945-1953, Albania 1949-1953, Eastern Europe 1948-1956, Germany 1950s, Iran 1953, Guatemala 1953-1954, Costa Rica mid-1950s, Syria 1956-1957, The Middle East 1957-1958, Indonesia 1957-1958, Western Europe 1950s and 1960s, British Guiana 1953-1964, Soviet Union 1940s-1960s, Italy 1950s-1970s, Vietnam 1950-1973, Cambodia 1955-1973, Laos 1957-1973, Haiti 1959-1963, Guatemala 1960, France/Algeria 1960s, Ecuador 1960-1963, The Congo 1960-1964, Brazil 1961-1964, Peru 1960-1965, Dominican Republic 1960-1966, Cuba 1959-1980s, Indonesia 1965, Ghana 1966, Uruguay 1964-1970, Chile 1964-1973, Greece 1964-1974, Bolivia 1964-1975, Guatemala 1962-1980, Costa Rica 1970-1971, Iraq 1972-1975, Australia 1973-1975, Angola 1975-1980s, Zaire 1975-1978, Jamaica 1976-1980, Seychelles 1979-1981, Grenada 1979-1984, Morocco 1983, Suriname 1982-1984, Libya 1981-1989, Nicaragua 1981-1990, Panama 1969-1991, Bulgaria 1990, Iraq 1990-1991, Afghanistan 1979-1992, El Salvador 1980-1994, Haiti 1986-1994, Yugoslavia 1999, Afghanistan 2002, Iraq 2003.….
(William Blum, Killing Hope. Common Courage Press, 2003)

If you want I can tabulate an inventory of the killings by the US elite as well and it easily reaches into the tens of millions.

So it is best that you keep the 93 WTC BS to yourself, the US elite have brought several thousand 93 WTCs to other countries around the world. When does the world say ENOUGH is ENOUGH to the US elite and their treating of the globe`s human population as vermin and their destruction of the earth`s natural environment? You are totally despicable Kulharee.
