And since you are not privy to my “social life”, let us stick to what has happened on this forum. Educated people have assumed that I MUST be a traditional Muslim; they have used the most derogatory language and fantasized about me going about in drunken stupor with my hair scattered; they have accused me of having Taliban/Lashkar links, of being sponsored by agents; they have asked me to get into a shuttlecock burqa and

go to Kabul, Saudi Arabia, become a Pakistani…why has no one asked me to migrate to some Western country? Because that would shatter their image of where a Muslim b-i-t-c-h ought to be.

As for my “hurt psyche’ and the tremendous potential it has for mirth, what about yours?
